While he trains on his own in both tattoo artistry and the force, he is invested fully in neither of those things and finds himself struggling to have a purpose in his life. Though successful as a tattoo artist working in his father's small business, the Lochlin ink company, Brandon spends all his money at the local casino, gambling his money and life away for no good reason at all.
