Brawling Coruscant-Style

Katelyn Feanor

Two sides of a singular coin
[member="Talon Sky"]

Of all places somebody could be dueling, it just had to be Courscant. And not the 'nice' city part where you the security is tight. No, it was the Courscant underground…level after level of crime ridden areas with criminals and peoples of all occupations, personalities and races. Though, Katelyn for one wasn't there for the people. She had taken a transport shuttle to Courscant as to train her close quarters skills some, as she was rather rusty and needed to train some more.

Katelyn was dressed within a form-fitting black and sunset orange sports bra along with some black athletic shorts while training with a training bot as most of the other living trainers were busy with other people. Plus, they thought that she wasn't worth their time. Katelyns muscles were now prominent upon her form due to the clothing she was wearing. A six pack was visible upon her stomach where her abdominal muscles were located and her arms and legs held a fairly good amount of muscle yet not too much as for her body to not appear lean yet muscular and deadly. At the moment, Katelyns right hang was wrapped in white-colored and slightly bloodied bandages wrapped around her knuckles and wrist as to slightly protect her knuckles from the impact against a metal body. While her left cybernetic arm didn't really need anything to protect it.

At the moment, Katelyn was fighting against a training robot. A few people had come to watch, none of which Katelyn knew yet she didn't care. Sure, all of the people staring was pretty annoying by it was livable. Though, at the moment…she was losing. The robot had her within a head clock, it's metal arms closed tightly around her neck…slowly choking her. This was the opportunity she was hoping for as the robot adjusted its footing to Better easily choke Katelyn, Kat acted. She reached up her right hand, gripping the closest metal arm with her hand, allowing her claws to dig in. Katelyn had gotten her claws from her mother, a Felacatian. Along with the tail as well, which held onyx black fur yet smooth to the touch.

Katelyns claws dug into the arm until she prayed it off, leaving the robot momentarily stunned. She then brought up her cybernetic left hand yo the back of the robots neck before she ducked under an incoming arm meant to choke her. As she did this, Katelyn dug her left hand in causing the robot to grab at her cybernetic hand just as it disappeared before a swift kick brought the robot falling to the ground. Katelyn grinned in the bots direction as it laid upon the ground, she then began yo walk away from the robot slowly…as if testing the robot. It then ran towards her just as she wanted before Katelyn brought out her cybernetic arm again, grabbing the robot by the shoulder before flipping it over onto its back again.

The fight was finished, sure it was difficult in the beginning because the robot had gotten the jump on Katelyn…though she did win in the end through carefully planning.

Talon Sky

Shadow-tainted Heart of Light

Big city, big city lights.

It was all Talon could think about as he sipped his cup of caf and moved about the lower streets of Coruscant. The young Padawan had just finished up a simple package drop-off 'mission'....more like a glorified delivery service, really. The package had needed a level of protection above the standard post, but apparently not enough to warrant a Jedi Knight. But it didn't matter now; his errand was done and Talon had several hours before his master, Callista, was due to pick him up.

"I gotta get my own ship," the Half-Echani chuckled to himself as he tossed the disappointingly empty cup into a trash receptacle he passed. The Jedi probably wouldn't approve of Talon being in these parts....well, Theo Heavenshield might. But the young man was on his own for the first time in his life; what's wrong with seeing the sights, anyways?

Without consciously thinking about it, Talon's feet....and maybe the Force, which he'd been learning to trust....lead the young man to what seemed to be a dojo or gym of some kind. Talon wasn't sure, he couldn't read whatever language the sign was written in. But the Half-Echani knew those sounds, and knew that unique scent of sweat. People were fighting.

Talon didn't look too out of place among the crowd; he certainly carried himself like a fighter. Talon was wearing his favorite white shirt with the yellow and black trim, and a pair of worn but faithful blue jeans. The only thing that gave what Talon was away was the lightsaber, big and clunky, hanging securely at his waist. His azure blue eyes were drawn to one of the rings in particular, where it seemed a fight was just ending. Strange, it seemed like the girl in the ring....who had a tail, Talon noted with interest....had just won against a Droid. It must have been an impressive win, too, if the cheering was any kind of gauge.
