BIOGRAPHY:
Brayden Antares along with his twin sister [member="Scherezade deWinter"] were born on Endelaan to @Diomedes Antares and [member="Nessarose deWinter"] before the Gulag Plague swept the galaxy. Their birth was a complicated and dangerous one, as the twins came out of their mother embracing each other, nearly killing her in the process. The first year of their lives were filled with safety and love. Their parents, the Warrior King and Sorceress Queen of Endelaan, were much loved by the people of the planet, and the twins were showered and pampered with everything babies can. Brayden still has memories from that year, coming at him in flashes, of warm sunlight, smiling faces, the smell of both of his parents, and his mother’s milk.
Just before the Gulag came, Brayden’s sight of the warm and sunny Endelaan turned to black, and he later realized that he had been placed in something called the Darkness. He was trapped there for over four hundred years. At first, he did not panic, because he could feel Scherezade there with him, but when she disappeared, the Darkness became a dark and scary place. He felt each and every moment of those four hundred years pass within the Darkness, but there was nothing he could do about it.
And then the Darkness became emerald green, and his mother, Nessarose deWinter, appeared in front of him. She touched Brayden’s forehead and imprinted all her memories and knowledge into the child’s mind. When Brayden opened his eyes, he was no longer inside the Darkness. Covered in nothing but a white sheet, Brayden realized he was inside the body of an adult, and next to him was a strange looking male with wild hair and just a touch more clothing than Brayden wore.
The man in question, Zoma, had been holding an oddly shaped rock when it suddenly glowed silver-green, expanded, and exploded into a tiny human. For several moments, Zoma stared at the apparition, intrigued by the reality until the tiny human steadily became a rather large human. Transporting the body to his humble home, Zoma waited two full days for the man to awaken.
Brayden, armed with the gift of memories from his mother, quickly went about attempting to understand where he was and, more importantly, when he was. In time he came to understand that he had been released from the Darkness on the planet Lucazec - a former home of the Fallanassi. This ancient order of Adepts of the White Current had long since abandoned their ancestral homeworld. However, a small group of males, whom were never much favored within the Fallanassi, had remained behind with what few women identified with them. Over the centuries, many of them died off. Zoma, however, had discovered an ancient Sith Holocron in his travels. Utilizing the secrets of the Sith, Zoma was able to prolong his life.
For just over eighteen years, Brayden trained with Zoma in the ways of both the Fallanassi and the Sith. Like his father, Brayden's interest gravitated towards abilities geared more towards martial, combative applications. Sure, he was a capable manipulator of certain elements of sorcery and could defend himself in any mental contest, but his skills progressed to the point where sorcery was simply not a necessity in most situations. Several times, Brayden tried to convince Zoma to let him leave to explore the galaxy or sneak away. Brayden failed every single time up until the day that he killed his master by flash-boiling the man's very blood as he slept.
With the coordinate knowledge implanted in his memories by his mother, Brayden was able to travel to Endelaan. However, he stayed mostly away from the capital, feeling a strange pull to a less populated area. For several years, Brayden was sequestered in the mysterious land of Phindara, his presence within the Force obscured by unknown power. While there, he interacted on multiple occasions with a majestic creature that called itself Xsayarsa. It was not until Xsayarsa returned to him one day to inform him that he needed to leave that Brayden felt any desire to set to the stars. Apparently, his sister had relatively recently returned to the galaxy, and several other family relations were making trips to Endelaan in an effort to uncover the truth of their ancient past.
In no time at all, Brayden once again took to the stars. His destination...an old estate on Naboo that once belonged to his father. A place where he hoped he might be able to reconnect with the man of whom he had but faint memories.
