Breaking Point (Solo/Ask)

Carliah Dakrone

Walking the Path to Redemption
Once again Lilythe was trekking through the woods, although this time not even her Hirion was with her. She had left while Tenebrae was sleeping, making sure to hide her tracks. The snow was falling heavily today, so hiding where she had been wasn't too hard. The woman sighed as she continued walking. Normally she shivered in the cold like this, but not this time. Today she didn't seem affected. She was too broken to care about anything. The cold, the wind, the never ending snow and rain, none of it bother her anymore. Last time she had gone off into the woods like this, she had stopped at the top of the hill to look back at her cabin. This time there was no such pause. She continued walking, never looking back.

The long walk to the frozen lake took awhile, giving her plenty of time to think. The last time she had done this, Lilythe had been hesitant. This time she had made up her mind. The lawkeeper was determined. It wasn't as if she had much use anymore. She couldn't fight, barely slept, and could hardly eat enough to stay alive now that she couldn't hunt. Sure there were people that might miss her for whatever reason, but she didn't care. Every plan she made had failed at this point. She had found no one to heal her old injury, and even the plans for making her bow had fallen through. She kept hitting one metaphorical wall after another as plan after plan fell through. She was tired of the pain these failures brought her.

She had reached the large frozen lake on Iferetes now. As she walked across the glass like surface she hoped against hope that it would break beneath her feet. She took care to avoid the cave she used to hide in when she was upset. It had always been a place of comfort for her as she had grown up in that cave. She wouldn't taint it with the dark thoughts that clouded her mind these days. The dark-haired girl hummed softly as she walked. The closer she got to her destination, the happier she seemed to get. It would still take her a little over a day to reach the spot she had in mind, and she had none of her usual gear with her. Lilythe was in for a cold night.

She sighed softly as she trekked up into the mountains. The night had been cold and she almost regretted not bringing her equipment with her. She had left all of her camping supplies behind in her cabin, for someone to come along and make use of once she was gone. It wouldn't be long before someone came along and took her place anyway. Now she was merely completing a few last minute goals before the end. One of those goals being to climb the tallest mountain on Iferetes. She wanted to see what the world looked like from it's highest peak. The equipment for climbing the mountains was one of the few things she brought with her. @Lilythe

Arthur had found the cabin deserted an hour after she had left it in such condition, spending every resource he had and trying to find his friend as best he could. Infact he had only learned of it ten minutes ago and was pushing through the snow. He was days behind her, and hirion had already left to try and find her before him, so he had no idea if the wolf was in the right direction. To leave Hirion behind for days... he didn't like it and he had hoped his friend would not go to such a point. He tried to rush with what little training he had with the force, his mind was focused on reaching her and only that.
