Breaking the Limits {Harly}

UNKNOWN REGION OF SPACE; Approaching Maximum Security Asylum

There was something to be said about how bold the Dread Skulls were. Whether that something was a positive or negative thing, however, was certainly up for debate. Not too many pirate groups would feel comfortable risking their lives, ships, and freedom to rescue a single member of their crew. Then again, not too many pirate groups still kept treasure maps tattooed on someone's back. So perhaps they had more reason than most to break into an insane asylum. Not that most had any reason to do so. Truly, the Dread Skulls were one of a kind.

Maybe that was why Lykaios felt so at home with them. Despite essentially being their slave (though being blissfully unaware of this face), she thought of them as more of a family than anything else. When one of them had been captured, arrested, and locked up, she had immediately felt the need to save him. Luckily for her she wasn't the only one. Others in the group had voiced their desires as well, and before long they had gathered their ships, plotted their course, and started towards the facility.

Before long they had arrived, a dozen of their ships trying to keep the defenses busy, while a few others tried to sneak into the hangar bay, Lykaios among them.

Harly would sit alone in her cell. SHe wasn't even allowed to speak or see anyone but the guards and the warden. She was at the very heart of the Asylum. They considered her very dangerous. She would spend her days alone in her cell bored. She would have tied her bed sheets to the top of her cell and she would swing from them. This is how she would pass time. She had tried to starve herself many times and it never worked out. She would just be force fed through a feeding tube. That was not a very fun experience.

She would sit there bored out of her mind she had been here for 2 years

"Coming in hot! Make sure to show 'em hell, boys!" Captain Eylsher growled into his comm unit, attempting to make a somewhat smooth landing as he did. One of his ship's engines was on fire, the other barely working enough to allow him to steer, and for a moment he was worried he wouldn't make it. Yet somehow the vessel held together long enough for him to skid to a stop within the hangar. "That was too close," he grumbled before opening the cock pit and quickly jumping out of it. Behind him came Lykaios, who had been acting as his gunman and copilot, wearing her signature crooked grin. Somehow the woman could remain positive, even after being shot down.

"So, Cap'n, do we know which block Taiga is in?" She asked, tipping her head to the side a little. Before her companion could answer a nearby door flew open, revealing a squad of guards, and alarms started to blare in the distance. "Ooh, here to join the fun, luvs?" Lykaios chirped, quickly pulling out her pistols as she did. Both her and the captain rolled into the nearest cover available. Several more pirate ships started to fly into the hangar, one of which providing cover fire as it did. Combined with Kaios' quick shots, the blasts were enough to defeat the initial wave of guards.

Once things were silent except for the distant alarms, Captain Eylsher called his crew over and told them the plan.
"Alright, Taiga should be in the center block, with all of this hellhole's worst nutcases. I don't care who you have to shoot, or how many you have to shoot, do whatever it takes to get him out of here, understood?" A few men seemed concerned, but most were quick to embrace the plan. "Alrighty then! Castro, take your guys and head to the control room. I want you to unlock as many cells in other blocks as you possibly can. Everyone else, come with me. We'll take the fight straight to our goal. Move out!"

Still grinning, Lykaios would start running alongside the captain, heading towards the heart of the asylum. If she noticed the alarms, she made no note of them.

As the Alarms began to go off Harly would drop from her makeshift silk sling. She would ready herself. She knew the guards would blame her and they would be on her in no time flat. As they bust into her cell she would spring into action. She would jump up and lock her legs around one of their necks. She would spin around and in the process snap the guards neck. She was then onto the next one. She would attack and move with the speed of light

Without breaking a sweat, Lykaios quickly traversed through the asylum, only occasionally needing to pause. The guards were used to dealing with unarmed patients- not a group of blaster-wielding pirates. Of course, what they lacked in experience they made up in numbers, with easily five times as many people as the Dread Skulls. Had Lykaios been slightly more stable in the head, she might have been worried. Instead she was having the time of her gorram life. Everything felt more like a game to her than a battle, less fear of death and more thrill of a good challenge. Admittedly that made her captain a little concerned. He considered the woman to be highly valuable, despite being a slave, primarily due to her sensitivity to the force. At least that helps keep her alive, he thought, watching her seem to take out a whole squad in the blink of an eye. It was moments like that that made him glad they were on the same side.

"Hey, Cap'n, can ya tell me what this sign says?" Lykaios asked, drawing Eylsher's attention back to their mission. Quietly he glanced at the sign, making a mental note to teach the woman how to read at some point. While her illiteracy wasn't usually a problem, it did get annoying at times, such as in the current situation.

"Well... it looks like we've reached the center block," Eylsher replied, letting his lips curl into a thin grin. Quickly he gestured for the others following him to come closer. Once they did he smirked wider, opened his mouth, and spoke. "Alright men, we've almost done it! I want you frakkers to split up and search every cell in here, understood? Find our man, kill some guards, then meet back here. And use your gorram comms this time, you hear me?!?" A chorus of 'yeahs' rose in response, the Dread Skull pirates acknowledging the plan. With another nod from the captain they moved out, each rushing towards a different cell.

Lykaios would make her way to the right, curious about the sounds of fighting coming from one of the rooms...
