Brec Gannan has had several lightsabers over the course of his life, especially from his time as a Knight of Ren. His most recent construction effort has brought together his full range of knowledge and know-how, resulting in a multi-crystal focused lightsaber. It has songsteel plating for the hilt, non-dimetris circuitry, and multiple meditation focusing crystals; this results in a very durable hilt, a blade that is cortosis-resistant and a finer connection to the Force that allows for increased energy retention in combat.
The more unique Krayt Dragon pearl also offers an incredibly powerful blade, which is capable of slicing and cutting more effectively, compared to standard lightsabers; however, the pearl also results in a very loud howling sound when active, which limits the more subtle uses of the lightsaber.
There remain the usual weaknesses of a lightsaber. Being submerged in water or liquid will short the weapon out for a time, and force-cancelling effects will diminish the meditation crystal effectiveness and also has trouble blocking solid projectiles.
Overall the design is simple, sturdy and made for combat; with a basic metallic shine, little color or attachment flair. The lightsaber has a sky blue blade.
