STRENGTHS
  • Greatly Enhanced Reflexes: The various cybernetics in the package enhance the user's natural dexterity, agility, reaction speed and ability to react to information to the point that they're nigh on par with a Jedi/Sith Knight/Warrior.
  • Greatly Enhanced Strength: The user's strength is greatly enhanced several times over that of what an unenhanced humanoid would be capable of.

WEAKNESSES
  • Exacting Physical Requirements: Any potential users must be not only in the peak of physical health, but have to have sterner constitution than the average humanoid, lest the implants take a high toll on the body and cause failure of various organs. Once this is discovered as the cause for poor health in a subject, it is usually far too late.
  • Problematic Treatment: It's one thing to treat a patient with the complications of the average humanoid body, it's another thing entirely to treat a patient with an entire package of implants in them, and as such this makes any medical aid that isn't bacta, carapace knitter or some other injectable cocktail considerably more difficult.
  • Natural Limits: Despite the implant package being able to push a user to near superhuman limits, it still cannot push a body past a point. Muscles have natural expansion and contraction limits, blood can only be carried through the body at a certain rate, and while the package pushes those limits it doesn't alleviate them entirely.
  • Wear and Tear: Pushing oneself too often and too much will increase the wear and tear on the body to the point where the wear and tear on the body becomes significant, potentially lowering lifespan or necessitating removal of the implant package.
  • Electricity/EMP/Ion: Exposure to high powered Electric/EMP/Ion weapons past the point that the system is rated to handle can cause the system to go into a low-power standby mode to protect the user, only restarting when it detects that it is safe to do so. Typical symptoms include dizziness, nausea, temporary loss of or impaired motor control and an inability to focus.

Part of the Dauntless commando overhaul project, Breshig War Forge began work on a cybernetic enhancement project for the elite Dauntless commandos based on their own basically identical 'Rammikad' Enhancement Package. Fortunately, they'd learned a lot since that project, and as a result implantation success rates increased from that project, however these numbers were still a marginal increase comparatively. Problems were present, given that as elite as they were, Dauntless commandos didn't have the advantage that the Mandalorian raised members of Strill Securities elite Vuhyr'yalilyr Rammikade and Mishir-Jurkad Rammiakde had; which was being trained to be at the peak of their physical abilities from a very young age. For that reason, Breshig War Forge Consolidated involved members of the aforementioned special forces units to aid the Dauntless commandos with both the pre-implantation process as well as the post implantation recovery and acclimatization.
The enhancement package targets four core areas; reflexes, strength, memory and senses, and healing and natural constitution. Given investment into the commandos, the aim of the enhancement package to push their capabilities beyond what what their bodies would be capable of even with their elite training and exacting physical regimens.
Reflexes are extremely important on the battlefield, but are arguably more useful for a commando than they would be for the average soldier. The package augments the user's nervous system to allow impulses to travel faster and farther along nerve bundle pathways, resulting in enhanced reaction time and improved motor control, the latter of which results in a marked increase in marksmanship. To further improve reaction time, a series of specialized implants are installed to stimulate and help regulate the sympathetic nervous system of the user, thus reducing the latency of neural communication between the sensory organs and the brainstem.
Being outnumbered, commandos are expected to leverage every advantage that they might have, and are expected to make use of specialist equipment in addition to their 'regular' gear. As such, the package performs a number of different functions to increase the user's strength and endurance. One of these functions was a micromanaging the body's cardiovascular system by way of a specialized heuristically learning microprocessor. Another implant increased the user's natural strength by regulating brain stem functions and occasionally routing small doses of adrenal steroids. Yet another implant increased the user's cardio-vascular recovery rate and pain tolerance of the wearer, greatly increasing their stamina as a side effect to preternatural levels. To further improve this, another implant regulated the electrical current running through the user's body to improve the wearer's stamina.
When operating behind enemy lines, any seasoned operative will attest that one's senses are the greatest weapons in a commando's arsenal. The package included an implant that enhanced the sensory-interpretation areas of the brain, heightening the user's awareness and analysis of their surroundings as well as their spatial perception. It augmented the mind's natural ability to process visual data, enhancing the user's ability to perceive targets and process their surroundings both under normal circumstances as well as under difficult, tenuous, untenable or otherwise extraneously stressful situations that might push a commando to their breaking point. Another implant enhanced the brain's capacity to handle extra sensory input and helped with the organization of said input, further enhancing the user's visual and aural acuity. It bestowed upon its users the ability to interpret body language much better, by allowing them to become aware of changes in breathing and subtle changes in eye patterns. To prevent this from causing issues, another implant regulated the nervous system to prevent the loss of consciousness due to sudden impact or sensory overload. Finally, a specialized memory chip released and controlled a cocktail of synthetic nutrients to enhance quick thought in the user.
Commandos tend to push their bodies to the very limits of possibility and are on the receiving end of a lot of incoming fire on occasions. As such, the package includes a variety of implants to assist in enhancing both the body's natural constitution as well as to improve its ability to heal. A micro-computer installed inside the body monitors the circulatory system, checking for undesirable contents which are then removed by way of a complex algorithm. This computer can also detect unnatural drops or surges in nerve transmissions rates that are outside of the ordinary for a user of the enhancement package. The implant also stores and transmits basic information of various poisons and toxins into the mind of the user (which can be updated with new information as and when it becomes available), and can 'teach' the brain to attempt to synthesize antidotes. The package also made use of nano-technology to speed the healing process in an individual, and coaxed the brain to boost the healing process in cooperative fashion. However, to further aid this process, both a bacta-processing implant was installed, such that the user may heal further faster with the aid of bacta.

That said, Breshig War Forge Consolidated is confident that the Dauntless commandos will become further of a force to be reckoned with, their already impressive natural abilities further improved to the peak of possibility by the implant.
