OUT OF CHARACTER INFORMATION
Mandalorians have always sought new and innovative ways to ensure that their access to medical aid is not completely sacrificed by their armor. A number of solutions had presented themselves in history, but few were as noteworthy as the Smartmed 2000. In recent times, most armors feature stimm and/or bacta injectors, however Breshig War Forge Consolidated was determined to take this several steps further with their product. The Gar Baar'ur was designed to be an intelligent self-applicating advanced medical kit in one, allowing the user to focus on the task at hand without having to administer medical aid themselves. Not only did this enable soldiers to fight longer and harder, but the integrated bioscan could enable medics to quickly and more easily diagnose their patients.
At the core of the system was the intelligent bioscan system that monitored the user's vitals and using an intelligent heuristically processing system and a large comprehensive medical database administered drugs and medication to keep the user operating at peak condition. It was capable of heuristically learning to specifically cater to particular users. It featured a variety of stims to keep the user fighting faster, harder and longer than they would normally be able to. To this end, it also employed a bacta pump and a series of specialized localized carapace knitter injectors, which could allow for rapid healing of not just tissue but also of bone. As an additional measure of protection against the deadly Rakghoul plague, the system is loaded with a curative serum. Additional vaccines/anti-viruses can be loaded as well.
The Gar Baar'ur was designed to be integrated into an armor system, and as a result required to be connected to the armor's power supply and could not operate as a standalone system. This did mean that it was possible for a slicer to gain access to the the control system and set it to inject the user with a lethal cocktail of drugs. While very capable, the system is still limited and cannot perform surgery or any other complicated medical procedures. This can prove to be an issue, as the average organic body is only capable of taking so much and the system cannot help past a point. In the case of armored users, however, the system is still better than having to wait for a medic to try and administer aid to the user, especially in the chaotic conditions of a battlefield.
- Intent: To create an armor integrated automated medical suite similar to the Smartmed 2000 Integrated Med-system for Breshig War Forge Consolidated, Mandalorians and select others.

- Canon Link: N/A
- Permissions: N/A
- Primary Source: Smartmed 2000 Integrated Med-systems
- Manufacturer: Breshig War Forge Consolidated
- Affiliation: Breshig War Forge Consolidated, Mandalorians, Closed-Market
- Model: 'Gar Baar'ur' Integrated Med-system
- Modularity: Yes, the system can be installed into most suits of armor. The stored drugs can be changed/added to.
- Production: Mass-Produced.
- Material: Medical Diagnostic Computer, Interdermal Injection System, Bacta Pump, electronics, various drugs, medecine and stimulants.
- Bacta Pump
- Defibrillator
- Interdermal Injection System
- Anesthetics:
- Drugs/Medicine:
- Stimulant:
- Vaccine/Anti-virus:
- Carapace Knitter Injectors
- Bioscan
- Medical Diagnostic Computer
- Stims: The various stims that can be injected by the system can keep the user conscious and fighting long past the point they should have been able to or can give them that edge they might need to win the day.
- Anti-Virus: The system also comes with the cure to the Rakghoul plague, allowing the user to survive being infected with it.
- Medical Aid: The system is able to monitor the user in real time, utilizing its vast repository of medical information to release drugs and medication to keep the user operating at peak condition. It is capable of heuristically learning to specifically cater to particular users.
- Bone Repair: With the use of specialized localized carapace knitter injectors, the system can heal fractured bones with minimal risk of overdose.
- Last Resort: If it becomes inevitable that the user will not survive no matter what, the system can release a dose of Cyclone with the user's permission to enable them to give their absolute best in their last moments.
- Bacta Pump: The system can inject bacta into the body, remove it once it was circulated, filter it out, clean it and then inject it back in as required.
- Power: The Gar Baar'ur doesn't contain a power supply of its own, but rather relies on the power system of the armor that it is mounted in.
- EMP/Ion: Having no EMP/Ion protection of its own, it is entirely reliant on the EMP/Ion protection of the armor lest it shut down or in worst case scenario become permanently damaged.
- Slicing: While extremely improbable, it is possible for a slicer to slice into the armor the system is mounted in and set the system to release a lethal cocktail of drugs.
- Limited: The system is unable to perform surgery or any other complicated medical procedure.
- Can Only Take So Much: At the end of the day, the body is only capable of taking so much, and as such the system can only help to an extent. After a point, no amount of stims or drugs will save the user.
- Armor: The system has to be integrated into armor to function and does not operate as a standalone device.
