PRODUCTION INFORMATION
SPECIAL FEATURES
STRENGTHS
  • Engineer's Best Friend: The 'Gotabor b' Marev' adds a number of diagnostic systems and tools including four articulated micro tool limbs. The tool arms are small enough and have enough articulation points to be able to maneuver in the close confines of the inside of an electronic device or other machinery and they are extremely precise to boot.
  • Resilient: The 'Gotabor b' Marev' is made from a Stesr'gar-Stygian triprismatic polymer composite, allowing it to resist damage from a number of sources such as energy weapons, kinetic energy weapons, EMP/Ion weapons and even lightsabers.
  • Enhanced Capabilities: The 'Gotabor b' Marev' features a built-in crushgaunt with a number of other lethality enhancing and utility functions. This not only makes the wearer more lethal on the battlefield, particularly in close combat, but also makes them more versatile in their capabilities.
WEAKNESSES
  • External Power Source Required: The 'Gotabor b' Marev' Gauntlet and Vambrace was designed to be connected to an armor's power supply rather than be used without a suit of armor with a self-contained power supply. It could be connected to a power supply independent of an armor as well, but doing so would be up to the user.
  • EMP/Ion: Though well protected against EMP/Ion weapons and against potential short circuiting from weaponized electrical attacks, should any of these actually manage to cause damage, it will likely cause a catastrophic cascading failure given the high percentage of electronic and electric systems.
DESCRIPTION
The 'Gotabor b' Marev' or Engineer's Fist is another product in the series of gauntlet-vambrace combination units. It was designed for the company's technicians, battlefield or otherwise. Company technicians often find themselves in harms way, and while many have custom solutions to carrying tools, said solutions were more often than not done with the employees own funding. The company decided to create a more dedicated solution for this problem, and as a result the 'Gotabor b' Marev' was created.
The Gotabor b' Marev like the Sol'akaan Gotabor b' Marev and Sol'akaan Baar'ur b' Marev models features a quartet of articulated micro tool arms. These tool arms are small enough and have enough articulation points to be able to maneuver in the close confines of the inside of an electronic device or other machinery and they are extremely precise to boot. Additionally, a number of different diagnostic systems and tools.
The Gotabor b' Marev also has the advantage of enhancing the wearer's combat capabilities, but carries with it all the flaws of the Verd b' Marev model that it was based on.
