• Material: Anti-Corr 113 coating, Beskar blade, Maalras hide wrapped grip, reinforced Duraplast grip, Agrinium mesh lined electronics compartment, Combat de-ionizer, Ultrachrome circuitry, wiring and other electronics.
• Modularity: The grip wrap can be changed. Paint on the guard can be changed. Blade can be electroplated or coated in different materials.

SPECIAL FEATURES​

• Blade Construction:
  
  • Mono-molecular Edge and Point: With a mono-molecular edge and point, the weapon has a higher chance of penetrating armor or natural carapace than earlier iterations of the knife, including the one originally used by Kal Skirata. This also has the added benefit of functioning even without power unlike several of the other systems built into the blade. Additionally, it has higher potential to do damage to body tissue, bones, organs and the like than the original and following iterations as well.
• Electronics:
  
  • Repulsor Generator: The user can activate the repulsor generator with the push of a button to augment the force of their strikes, greatly increasing armor penetrating capability and damage potential.
    
    • Repulsor Assisted Throwing and Recovery: Though weighted such that it can be thrown easily, the Ehn-ky'kal Kal's repulsor generator can also increase its velocity, range and can also return the blade to the user after it is thrown.
  • Ultrasonic Vibration Generator: The ultrasonic vibration generator's output can be adjusted using a sliding switch on the hilt. The lowest setting shuts the generator off.
  • HUD Link (optional): The blade can link to the user's HUD, putting the button controls at their disposal with all the convenience of a HUD. Status indicators also display over this link

STRENGTHS​

• Nasty Wound Channel: The wound channels made by this weapon are extremely difficult to seal conventionally without the use of bacta and can cause severe internal damage.
• Armor Penetrating: The ultrasonic vibration generator, energy cell/projector and the mono-molecular edge enhance a Ehn-ky'kal Kal's armor penetrating qualities to an exponential level, even giving it the ability to potentially deal with exotic materials and advanced composites and alloys such as beskar, phrik and the like.
• Lethal Wounds: The weapon's ultrasonic vibration and repulsor generator greatly augment the deadly wounds that a Ehn-ky'kal Kal is capable of causing. Even a graze is capable of causing grievous wounds. In the case of the repulsor generator, what might be a critical wound with an unaided strike could become an execution blow with the aid of the generator.
• Rylith Power Cell: The weapon makes use of a Rylith Power Cell, making for significantly increased battery life, as well as the capability to recharge the cell with exposure to sunlight.

WEAKNESSES​

• Predictable: The Ehn-ky'kal Kal's path of return to the user is direct and thereby very easily predictable, making it easy for an opponent to intercept it.
• Stabbing: Though capable of causing damage with slashing motions, the weapon is primarily designed for use as a stabbing weapon.
• It's a Knife: Knives don't have reach, and the Kal isn't an exception.
• Beskar: The weapon is, at the end of the day, made from beskar. Given the number of anti-beskar measures in the galaxy, there's a relatively high chance of running into one of them.
• Out of Power: If the power cell runs out of charge, then weapons more advanced functions will be disabled, notably decreasing its lethality.
• EMP/Ion: Should the weapon's EMP/Ion defenses be overwhelmed by a powerful enough EMP/Ion weapon, the weapons more advanced functions would be rendered unusable, notably decreasing its lethality.

DESCRIPTION​

A modernized version of the M-06S 'Skirata' Mra'jitr, the K-04 Skirata Ehn-ky'kal Kal adds a lot of features to the older weapon. The M-06S and as a result the K-04's design is based on a three sided knife allegedly used by members of the Skirata clan. Eventually the design found its way into the Breshig system, where it quickly became a popular weapon amongst the Mandalorians who called the system home.​

The K-04 like the M-06S also features an ultrasonic vibration generator and a mono-molecular edge but also features a repulsor generator for additional force when slashing or stabbing. Additionally, the repulsor generator also assists with throwing and retrieving the weapon. The ultrasonic vibration generator, energy cell/projector and the mono-molecular edge enhance a Kal's armor penetrating qualities to an exponential level, even giving it the ability to potentially deal with exotic materials and advanced composites and alloys such as beskar, phrik and the like. These features greatly enhance the deadly wound channels that the weapon is capable of causing.​

Though capable of causing damage with slashing motions, the weapon is primarily designed for use as a stabbing weapon. Being a knife, however, the K-04 has a limited reach. While it is able to be used as a throwing weapon. its path of return to the user is direct and thereby very easily predictable, making it easy for an opponent to intercept it. Additionally, the weapon is, at the end of the day, made from beskar. Given the number of anti-beskar measures in the galaxy, there's a relatively high chance of running into one of them. Finally, if out of power or should the weapon become disabled by a powerful enough EMP/Ion weapon, then it's more advanced functions would be rendered unusable, notably decreasing its lethality.​
