- Faster, Stronger: The suit increases the user's agility, dexterity and strength by several magnitudes, making them considerably stronger, faster and more agile than a 'normal' person. Additionally, the enhancements provided by the CNT muscle fiber are far more natural than those of servo and hydraulic power armors, and this combined with the neural interface means that the user has to spend far less time adjusting to the suit.
- Resilient: Even though its not designed as armor per se, the suit can protect against a wide variety of threats faced on the modern battlefield.
- Light: The armor is quite lightweight even with all the attached systems, and hence it makes a perfect platform to build a full armor suit on.
- Medical Suite: The suit's inbuilt medical suite can address a variety of medical concerns, treat a variety of injuries and keep a soldier fighting longer, harder and faster than they would normally be able to.
- Regulated Temperature: The suit regulates internal temperature to ensure that no matter the outside environment, the wearer is comfortable.
- Stealthy: With a reflec coating and and in-built thermoguard technology, the bodyglove itself has a very small sensor profile that most operators would likely just ignore.
- Sonic: The suit provides no protection against sonic weapons, hard sound or otherwise.
- Acid: Acid can cause significant damage to the suit and the underlying CNT muscle fiber.
- EMP/Ion: Even with the combat de-ionizer, a powerful enough pulse/blast can severely damage many of the sensitive electronics in the suit.
- Disruptors: Disruptors tend to tear apart whatever they hit on a molecular level, and while this is a slower process for certain materials, neither the Stesr'gar armorweave nor the thermal gel in the bodysuit provide much protection against a disruptor weapon.
- No Comms: Unlike most armors of the day and age, the system lacks integrated communications systems. This means that the armor doesn't benefit from usually more powerful armor mounted comms systems.
- No Sensors: The armor has no sensors, meaning the user would have to rely on their own senses or carried sensor gear to retain situational awareness.
- Not Sealed: While the armor may have temperature controls, there are no enviro filters or anything else to that effect.
- Limited Power Cell: The armor's power cell was designed to be used with a larger dedicated cell/power supply unit and as such is really only a backup cell with a 12 hour backup.
The Prudii'kute is one of two results that came out of an R&D project to develop a base for armor production that brought together several other technologies made by the company, notably their CNT synthetic muscle fiber and integrated med-system. Fully intending on producing a version for use outside of Strill Securities. the company's move from groundside production facilities to orbital based ones prevented that project from entering production.
The suit is built around two main components; the 'Gar Agol' CNT Synthetic Muscle Fiber and the 'Gar Baar'ur' Integrated Med-system. The Gar Baar'ur system is the first 'layer', given its need to directly interact with the wearer. At the core of the system was the intelligent bioscan system that monitored the user's vitals and using an intelligent heuristically processing system and a large comprehensive medical database administered drugs and medication to keep the user operating at peak condition. It was capable of heuristically learning to specifically cater to particular users. It featured a variety of stims to keep the user fighting faster, harder and longer than they would normally be able to. To this end, it also employed a bacta pump and a series of specialized localized carapace knitter injectors, which could allow for rapid healing of not just tissue but also of bone. As an additional measure of protection against the deadly Rakghoul plague, the system is loaded with a curative serum. Additional vaccines/anti-viruses can be loaded as well.
The Gar Agol system is the next 'layer, and uses a 'Gar Tkiriyr' Neural Interface that is paired with a droid brain, which interprets the control signals from the implant and converts it into control signals for the entire network of CNT synthetic muscle fiber bundles attached to the suit. The structure of this network is designed to mimic human anatomy specifically, but is largely compatible with most humanoid species. It is this connection however that enables the user to truly augment their own strength, agility and dexterity. At the mere conscious thought of throwing a vicious right hook, the droid computer has already translated the motion and is contracting and expanding the requisite muscles at a rate several magnitudes faster than an average humanoid body would naturally be capable of.
The suit is equipped with certain stealth features, including a reflec coating and thermoguard technology, giving a very low sensor signature as far as scanners, IR and Thermal sensors are concerned. This in particular is the key difference between the Ori'kute and the Prudii'kute. given that the latter is designed for use by covert special forces units/infiltrators.
The outermost layer of the bodysuit is made from Stesr'gar armorweave, with the very next layer being one of thermal gel. This combination of materials ensures that the user is protected from a variety of threats; blasters and energy weapons, kinetic weapons, lightsabers as well as directed heat weapons such as flamethrowers. An Agrinium mesh makes up the next level, keeping the wearer and the delicate electronics of the suit safe from radiation. A zersium insulation layer follows that, ensuring that the temperature controlled suit retains whatever temperature is set by the user/automated climate control system. The materials and components used in the armor are all relatively lightweight, allowing for a lightweight bodysuit.
Unfortunately, as protective as the bodysuit is, there are a few damage sources which it provides limited/no protection against. Additionally, given that it is designed as a base for armor rather than a suit of armor itself, it lacks dedicated comms and sensors that would be expected in a suit of modern armor. Finally, the suit has a limited power supply that can sustain its functions for approximately 12 hours, but this was designed as a backup power unit and in the heat of combat the unit's battery life is likely far, far less than that.
