- Deadman Baradium Charge: To avoid capture, or if the droid sees no way out of a fight provided friendlies are not in the blast radius, the droid will activate its baradium charge.
- Hunting Animal Personality: The droids are programmed to behave in a similar manner to Mandalorian hunting animals, making it easier for most Mandalorians to work with them.
- Fast and Agile Predator: The droid is fast, and agile thanks to its two thrust vectored turbofan engines, powerful repulsorlift and directional micro repulsors. Additionally, it's targeting systems and stabilized weapon systems enable it to fire accurately on the move.
- Stealthy: The droid's reflec coating, IR and sound suppressed engines and optical camouflage system make it difficult to detect, allowing it to perform its part task of being a reconnaissance droid.
- High Resolution, Comprehensive Sensor Suite: The droid has a variety of high resolution sensors, allowing it to perform detailed reconnaissance or simply boost the sensor capabilities of units it is attached to.
- Manda Tactical Battlenet: The droid's Manda Tactical Battlenet module effectively allows a force to extend their sensor range, as well as providing better force analysis of hostile forces.
- Droid: Despite the measure taken to protect the 'Nuhaatyc' Reconnaissance/Infantry Support Droid against EMP/Ion damage, a powerful enough weapon will still fry this droid like a protato in a deep-fat fryer.
- Loyal to a Fault: The droid is extremely loyal to the organics it works with, and while it may 'voice' its disapproval as many hunting animals do, ultimately it will follow orders and protect its users at the expense of itself.
- Shields or Optical Camouflage System: Either the shields or the optical camouflage system can be used at once, meaning if the droid's detected and fired on while its optical camouflage system is active, it is far less defended than if the shields were to be up as well.
- Reactor Breach: If breached, the droid's reactor Isotope-5 reactor does have the potential to violently detonate, potentially doing damage to friendly forces.
- Not True Stealth: Mass detectors, magnetic sensors and anything that can pick up the droid's low-signature repulsors can detect it.
The Nuhaatyc is an advanced reconnaissance/infantry support droid initially made to support Strill Securities infantry and make up for their smaller numbers when compared to many more traditional and contemporary military forces, but ended up on Breshig War Forge Consolidated's export catalogue once production caught up. The droid's personality and loyalty are what helped endear it to soldiers in the field, though a solid armament, excellent protection and some of the best tools for the job are what set the droid apart in the first place.
The Nuhaatyc is extremely fast and agile thanks to its two thrust vectored turbofan engines, powerful repulsorlift and directional micro repulsors. Additionally, it's targeting systems and stabilized weapon systems enable it to fire accurately on the move. Though it's not enough for a reconnaissance droid to be fast, though the Nuhaatyc doesn't rely on speed and agility alone, and comes equipped with eflec coating, IR and sound suppressed engines and optical camouflage system make it difficult to detect.
Of course, the droid has to be able to detect the enemy to perform its task effectively. To that end the droid has a variety of high resolution sensors, allowing it to perform detailed reconnaissance or simply boost the sensor capabilities of units it is attached to. As an added bonus, the Manda Tactical Battlenet module installed in the droid effectively allows a force to extend their sensor range, as well as providing better force analysis of hostile forces.
The droid's shield generator and soft-kill APS systems prove to be a great support to both infantry and vehicles in the field. It can either hover over and protect infantry or run interference for friendly vehicles. Additionally, the droid's arc welders enable it to aid friendly infantry in breaching structures and the droids have been used in boarding assaults as well. On more than a few occasions, the droids have also been seen using the arc welders to gain access to the interiors of enemy vehicles.
That said the Nuhaatyc has its fair share of flaws.
