• Modularity: The 'Verd b' Marev' can connect to any compatible armor system but is designed specifically for use with the 'Sapan'got Sur'haai' Combat Suite designed and produced by the company. The bracer computer's storage, memory and processing systems can be replaced with other components by the user. The weapon and tool mounts are modular, allowing any tool or weapon designed to take an electronic actuation signal and power connection with the appropriate mounting systems can be attached and used.

The tool arms are small enough and have enough articulation points to be able to maneuver in the close confines of the inside of an electronic device or an explosive and they are extremely precise to boot.

    • Micro-repulsor: Micro-repulsors that can reverse to allow the user to adhere to surfaces.

STRENGTHS​

• Combat Engineer's Best Friend: The 'Sol'akaan Gotabor b' Marev' is designed for combat engineers adds the novel feature of a quartet of articulated remote controlled micro tool limbs to aid with their tasking, particularly where the user would have difficulty reaching.
• Resilient: The 'Sol'akaan Gotabor b' Marev' is made from a Stesr'gar-Stygian triprismatic polymer composite, allowing it to resist damage from a number of sources such as energy weapons, kinetic energy weapons, EMP/Ion weapons and even lightsabers.
• Enhanced Capabilities: The 'Sol'akaan Gotabor b' Marev' features a built-in crushgaunt with a number of other lethality enhancing and utility functions. This not only makes the wearer more lethal on the battlefield, particularly in close combat, but also makes them more versatile in their capabilities.

WEAKNESSES​

• External Power Source Required: The 'Sol'akaan Gotabor b' Marev' Gauntlet and Vambrace was designed to be connected to an armor's power supply rather than be used without a suit of armor with a self-contained power supply. It could be connected to a power supply independent of an armor as well, but doing so would be up to the user.
• EMP/Ion: Though well protected against EMP/Ion weapons and against potential short circuiting from weaponized electrical attacks, should any of these actually manage to cause damage, it will likely cause a catastrophic cascading failure given the high percentage of electronic and electric systems.

DESCRIPTION​

The 'Sol'akaan Gotabor b' Marev' or combat engineer's fist in galactic standard basic was developed as variation of the 'Verd b' Marev' for use by Strill Securities' combat engineers. The 'Sol'akaan Gotabor b' Marev' doesn't vary very much from the base model that it was based on, however, it does notably feature a quartet of articulated micro tool limbs. These limbs are small enough and have enough articulation points to be able to maneuver in the close confines of the inside of an electronic device or an explosive and they are extremely precise to boot. ​

These tool arms were developed at the behest of company CEO Shuklaar Kyrdol after his experiences attempting to disarm and explosive trapped equipment case following the return of captured materiel from Sith space by Jhira Mereel . Shuklaar decided that they could do better for their combat engineers and organized a design team to develop a solution for being able to aid combat engineers and other technical specialists with operating on equipment with hard to reach parts and internals. ​

Rather that using servos, the limbs use the company's nanotube muscle fibers, giving the tool arms more fluid and precise movements. The tool arms can be controlled via precise finger motions, interpreted via sensors in the gauntlet, or via neural signals received from an armor's neural interface system, such as the company's 'Sapan'got Sur'haai' Combat Suite. The tool arms themselves are very resilient, and can stand up to a lot of abuse, though much to the dismay of many a combat engineer they're not particularly useful in combat.​
