STRENGTHS​

• Combat Engineering Aid: The added on systems are designed to aid combat engineers with carrying out their tasking without having to make use of hand-held scanners or trying to make use of pack or vambrace mounted systems in addition to armor mounted systems.

WEAKNESSES​

• EMP/Ion: Should the system actually sustain EMP/Ion damage that bypasses it's defenses, then it can cause all manner of havoc, such as data corruption, sensor damage, forced reboots and even total system failure.
• Training: This sensor kit is of limited usefulness to anyone who isn't a trained combat engineer and who is performing the duties of one.

DESCRIPTION​

Relatively simple in purpose and function, the Sol'akaan Gotabor Shushai Besbe or Combat Engineer Sensor Kit in basic is very simply a plug and play hardware and software package designed to aid combat engineers. The kit is part of a number of addon packages created by the company for specialist use cases, usually integrating hardware that was too special purpose to have included by default in the Sapan'got Sur'haai. Integration with the Sapan'got Sur'haai enables handsfree operation of the entire sensor suite, which allows the user to utilize weapons or other equipment. ​

The kit is well protected against EMP/Ion damage, however, should the system actually sustain EMP/Ion damage that bypasses it's defenses, then it can cause all manner of havoc such as data corruption, sensor damage, forced reboots and even total system failure. That said, given that the kit is meant to be used with the Sapan'got Sur'haai system which is always integrated into armor, an EMP/Ion weapon powerful enough to do damage past sufficiently protected armor will likely do a lot more damage. ​
