SPECIAL FEATURES
- Comfort:
- Adjustable Repulsor Fields: Adjustable repulsor fields make sitting in the seat for long periods of time even in armor more comfortable.
- Modular Seat Cushion: Portions of the seat cushion can be removed or additional sections added to better fit equipment or accommodate for different species.
- Power Supply: The power supply can provide enough power for approximately 24 hours of operation, presuming no particular sub system has undue strain placed on it.
- Propulsion and Flight Systems:
- IR Suppressor Baffled Thrust Manifolds: The exhaust manifolds cool the exhaust gasses, resulting in a lower IR sensor profile. On planets with high temperatures, this feature is automatically disabled.
- Gyro Stabilized Flight: A gyrostabilizer automatically monitors thrust output and keeps the user from spinning out of control, correcting with the repulsor if necessary. Careless flight will result in a diminished stealth profile.
- Repulsor Flight Systems: In a gravity well, the repulsor flight system does most of the actual flying, with only major vertical and horizontal thrust being provided by the rocket thrusters.
- Emergency Repulsor System: Should fuel cut out, the flight computer will engage the emergency repulsor system using the emergency backup power cell (or use the main power feed if its still connected and active) to allow the user a safe descent.
- Emergency Para-foil: Should the emergency repulsor fail, and the seat is in atmosphere, it will activate the para-foil.
- Vectored Flight: The multiple rocket thrusters allow for extremely maneuverable flight by offering full three dimensional thrust vectoring.
- Hover Mode :
- Rocket Thrusters: The maneuvering thrusters can operate on low power pulse mode to allow the pilot to hover.
- Repulsors: As long as the system has power and there is local gravity for the in-built repulsor to work with, the unit can hover in place, though doing so will greatly diminish the unit's stealth profile.

STRENGTHS
- Safe: A full slew of safety equipment keeps the user safe not only during ejection but during all crashes or other emergency situation.
- Comfortable: Adjustable repulsor fields make sitting in the seat for long periods of time even in armor more comfortable.
- Protected: The the ejector seat resistant to a number of forms of damage including but not limited to EMP/Ion weapons and sports a deflector shield to boot. This keeps the ejected crewmember safe from a stray round or two or debris. This shield can even protect the user from a limited quantity of small arms fire. Additionally, the included atmospheric shield along with the aforementioned deflector shield allows the user to survive atmospheric re-entry.
- Egress: The advanced flight systems of the ejection seat allows the user to not only eject safely but also to potentially maneuver themselves to safety.
WEAKNESSES
- Starship-grade Weapons: The deflector shield will collapse when faced with anything more than glancing-hits from starship-grade weapons. At best, one or two direct huts could be sustained, depending on what manner of weapon system was used.
- Out of Power: Without power, the ejector seat becomes unable to provide power to any of its systems, with only the emergency repulsor and redundant emergency para-foil being able to function.
- Out of Fuel: If the ejector seat runs out of fuel, then its ability to move and maneuver outside of a gravity well is essentially eliminated.
- Air?: The ejector seat does not provide an atmospheric seal or provide air, it presumes that the user is wearing a sealed flight suit with an air supply.
DESCRIPTION
"Keep in mind, ejecting into an active battlefield is still going to be hell, it's just not a death sentence anymore."

The T'ad Jate'bana or Second Chance in basic is an ejector seat that is designed to make the whole ejection process safer. The T'ad Jate'bana was designed as part of the company's small craft modernization program as a means to increase pilot survivability. Ejection seats aren't usually the first choice as far as addressing pilot survivability is concerned, however, escape pods were deemed to have too large of a silhouette to be considered over ejection seats despite the notably increased protection. The ejection seats were packed with every safety measure that the company could reliably and reasonably fit into it, resulting in on one of the most reliable, resilient and most importantly safe ejection seats on the market.
An acceleration strap with a g-lock function keep the user from behind thrown from their seat in the event of sudden vector changes. The safety equipment is not limited to what is installed in the ejector seat itself, however. An emergency acceleration compensator keeps the user safe from ill-effects of sudden acceleration or deceleration, while a cockpit integrated crash balloon and crash foam sprayers also serve to protect the user in the event of an unforeseen crash. Additionally, an inertial dampener also serves to protect the user from the strains of maneuvering following and during ejection.
To protect the user following ejection from the craft, the seat features an in-built deflector shield generator to protect from small arms fire, debris and stray glancing starfighter-scale weapons. Anything more than one or two direct impacts from aforementioned starfighter-scale weapons will almost certainly deplete the shield generator. To further protect the user during ejections in low-orbit and possible unintended or intended atmospheric re-entry, an atmospheric shield is integrated. Finally, if the system detects that it is about to land on water, it will inflate its integrated puncture-proof pontoon.
Safety was not the only concern addressed by the designers. A modular cushion system that allows seat cushions to be added or removed to better fit equipment or accommodate for different species. Additionally, adjustable repulsor fields make sitting in the seat for long periods of time even in armor a more comfortable experience.
The body of the seat itself is build from molecularly bonded duranium and reinforced duraplast, making it very resistant to damage from impacts, energy, kinetic and EMP/Ion weapons. The fuel tank for its rocket thrusters is self-sealing, preventing fuel leaks from causing additional problems. Running out of fuel, however, is a problem, as the ability to vector outside of a gravity well is lost. Running out of power outside of a planet, however, is essentially a death sentence as every system but the emergency repulsor and redundant emergency para-foil cease functioning.
