Shiraya's Odyssey
Briana was conceived in the aftermath of tragedy and birthed during the cusp of the Bryn'adul war machine that ravaged and shaped the Galaxy. The eldest of royal triplets, Briana was born into a world of a highly secure and pedigreed lifestyle, learning to endure the ever watchful presence of both her mothers loyal bodyguard, Hisashi, and her life long aide, Sera, while growing up on her families ancestral estate.
Coming from a highly prestigious and influential family on Naboo, Briana took the role of being the eldest sibling to heart and considered her position within her noble family as a high, albeit demanding, privilege. Like her mother and aunts, Briana underwent grueling tutelage in her formative years and was enrolled at the prestigious Royal House of Learning and the Elle Arcadium For Young Ladies. Possessed of a ravenous appetite to learn and a penchant for problem solving, Briana entranced many of her teachers and mentors with her natural will, strength, and astute mind.
Her ability in the Force was discovered early on, manifesting itself during her many outbursts as a young child, to later finding ways of using it as a means of committing small acts of mischief with her brother. Much to the disapproval of her parents, but more specifically, her mother - who often tried to teach both of her children about the Jedi code and their beliefs, though only Brandyn ever really took the lessons to heart.
Out of the two Force Sensitive Sal-Soren children, it was Briana whose gifts were first picked up on. Throughout the years, the children were visited by various Masters of the Force who felt that Briana was a natural candidate and more suited to joining the ranks of the Jedi Order, owing to her high-midichlorian count and provenly strong character, desiring to train the child and hone her abilities. However, these prospectors were frequently turned away by the children's father, much to Briana's relief and the annoyance of her brother.
A destiny denied, as some would lament.
Instead, the young girl spent her time chasing after another legacy. With a large extended family that was heavily involved in governmental affairs, it was her desire to follow in the footsteps of her father and step into the world of politics, aspiring to become a junior legislator...
...But the Force had different ideas in mind.
Briana was always considered to be cut from a different cloth than her siblings, more akin to her father Baros than anyone else in the family. Her impulsive and stubborn nature, paired with an insufferable belief in her own infallibility, often grated on the nerves of those around her.
In her youth, Briana was possessed of a boundless spirit, constantly chasing adventure and new experiences, but struggling when faced with true adversity, often leaning on her brother Brandyn for support.
However, when Brandyn vanished in the wake of the Netherworld Crisis on Naboo, Briana was forced to confront her own limitations and stand on her own two feet. It was then that her fiercely independent and courageous nature fully emerged, making her a force to be reckoned with.
With an unwavering focus on action and a refusal to stand idly by, Briana is quick to adapt to changing circumstances and take decisive action when faced with crisis. Her sharp eye for detail and her ability to make split-second decisions under pressure make her a valuable asset to any team.
But, even with her many successes, Briana is often plagued by self-doubt, and during moments of extreme stress, she is quick to turn her critical gaze inward, scrutinizing her own shortcomings and perceived failings with brutal honesty.
"By Shiraya's Light, I grant you the words of the Zalaaca. Wisdom. Grace. Poise be upon thee. Eldest of your line. May you guide your siblings in safety. May love be your first recourse. May forgiveness be ever ready in thine heart.
