- K40 Targeting System: Used generally on military bases, the software allowed multiple weapons to convert onto various targets or concentrate fire on a single target. This is to help supplement the 840.z Holo-Targeting Suite when ordered to converge all weapons on one enemy point. (x)
840.z Holo-Targeting Suite: In conjunction with the targeting computer, the 840.z Holo-Targeting Suite allowed improved accuracy for gunners on the Guardian. This was a necessary upgrade as the targeting computer itself was strained from the large amount of weapons systems, the 840.z allowing it to balance out the strain. (x)
Hyperdrive Signal Interceptor: The Hyperdrive Signal Interceptor detects flucations in the local area though not of its destination nor the type of ship. This sensor is used for the purposes of intercepting or patrolling heavily guarded sections of space. Also used to prevent being ambushed via hyperspace, giving some notice for stations to be at the ready. (x)
- Target, Maximum Firepower: While the four photon beam cannons can fire independently, they can combine all four to concentrate their firepower on a single target. This weapon is not strong enough to obliterate or make planets uninhabitable such as a large asteroid or a small moon, only starships and stations.
- Fire on Everything!: The amount of weaponry on this is stupidly impressive and made more for either concentrated fire on one target for destruction to melt down or on multiple starfighters.
- How Do You Repair Coral?: Repairing this is not easy and getting a hull breach, there is no sure way to stop it from cascading failure. Getting damaged is a real problem.
- Tiny Hanger Bay: It barely has enough room for starfighter squadrons, giving it a rather dull edge to its ability to fight other star destroyers.
- Spin the Turbine!: To activate having all four fire at once, the outside turbine needs to activate which rotates the beams into the correct pattern while also charging the coral to where it can activate. Afterwards, it will unwind and make the proton beam cannons unusable for a short period of time.
Haon Hafey had a long time away from civilization to study organic types of life. The Vongs own unique form of coral became one of the newest inspirations though seeing how those who used his creations have tainted it wherever he went, he decided to let those have an even playing field. Combining some of the former Jewel projects, he created what would be known as the bright eye project. Allowing Coral to grow unmitigated throughout some old factories, he allowed them to form and morph into creations unlike those seen. Most when departed are almost never alike, while retaining most dimensions, some hallways are completely organically covered while others are sparking in electricity. While dangerous, this can be dealt with rather quickly and effectively with droids.
In the attempt to possibly sell them, the design not only got loose but some...gained sentience. Whether an organic specimen got on board or the Vong decided to take what they wanted, most of the ships were now gone along with the designs. Very quickly, a lot of strange ammilgations of starships started to pop up and while the Have Gun Will Travel has a few, a majority seems to now be left in open space, free for anyone to take to the horror of most people. Strangely enough, some even has preset configurations to combining the proton beam cannons, something Haon did not plan for before.
