HISTORICAL INFORMATION

"Syreeta Ming" was originally a false persona created by The Flock, a Witch in the Cult of the Brain Demon, for the purpose of killing Starlin Rand. Pretending to be a woman in trouble, she attempted to seduce Starlin, but he saw through her ruse. Rather than kill her, he opted to capture and interrogate her. The questioning ultimately led to him deciding to try and free her from the Cult's grasp. Using experimental methods, he succeeded in "redeeming" her - at the cost of wiping her personality and memories.

CONTENT INFORMATION

PERSONNEL:
  • Kai Bamarri - vocals, piano (The Sith Acolyte)
  • Starlin Rand - synths, guitar, vocals
  • Miri Nimdok - vocals

TRACKLIST:
  1. Dead Don't Dance
    1. "If I wasn't in a band, I'd probably be a criminal!" With this cheeky opening line, the album opener launches into a monster groove. All the classic ingredients of a FatF album are here, with the shredding guitar solo by Rand giving it a strong metal vibe. It seems designed (or at least chosen) to both ease the mind of the listener by giving them what they're expecting to hear, as well as prep them for when things take a very different turn.
  2. Winter In My Heart
    1. The somber heart of the album, it is also the most recent of all the material here, having been conceived while Bamarri was stranded with his former boss Alicio Organa Alicio Organa on the planet Zaathru. Apparently Organa masqueraded as a wintry god to win over the natives.
  3. Don't Take Your Love Away From Me
    1. The album's lead single, the song is a melancholic ballad driven mainly by piano with a pleasing string section. It was purportedly written by Bamarri while serving a three year sentence in Azrael Asylum, during which he learned to play and sing.
  4. Thrown Away
    1. Industrial music using organic materials thunder along while Bamarri wails against abandonment. It feels personal, even if the music backing the lyrics doesn't.
  5. The Universe Divide
    1. The most high-concept track on the album, "The Universe Divide" revolves around the idea of reincarnation. Bamarri uses his shapeshifting abilities to create different voices for each character, who dies and is then reborn as someone else.
  6. Last of His Kind
    1. A lament for genocide and extinction, Bamarri's ageless vocals give the otherwise low energy title track some much needed intensity. It certainly helps that the song's subject matter will always be topical...
  7. Bones of You
    1. A post-post-breakup song which seems to be trying to run from the lingering vestiges of the past even as it remains caught in its siren-song allure. Rand's DNA is more obvious on this one (he does some of the vocals) and it certainly suggests an interesting future for FatF.
  8. Song of Bamarre
    1. This is the one everyone's been talking about. A ten standard minute long cosmic symphony with Bamarri providing wordless, eerie vocals meant to evoke the crystal melodies of his native land, it almost doesn't sound like music. It's either so far into the future it's left the singularity in the dust, or so far in the past that it reached back into some primordial lizard part of my brain. It kind of rules, and is a fantastic sendoff for the album and the late Bamarri's short but promising career.

OUT OF CHARACTER INFORMATION
  • Intent: To codify an NPC for future RP.
  • Role: A Sithspawn clone created by Eloise's mother with, uh, delusions of grandeur.
  • Permissions: N/A
  • Links: "Rokanan's World"
PHYSICAL INFORMATION
  • Age: Adult
  • Force Sensitivity: Knight
  • Species: Dyomene
  • Appearance: A tall, muscular blonde bearing a strong resemblance to Ishani Dinn, Artemisia was made by splicing her creator's DNA with that of the Dyomene, a winged Sithspawn species also created by Ishani. Unlike many other members of her species, Artemisia was born with eyes and thus is not blind. She sports the corrupted, sulfuric gaze of a Dark Sider.
SOCIAL INFORMATION
  • Name: Artemisia
  • Loyalties: Pantheon of Zaathru
  • Wealth: Receives no salary, lives off the land and the hunt
  • Notable Possessions: Weapons and armor
  • Skills: MURDER
  • Languages: Zaathri, Shaalite, Basic, telepathy
  • Personality: [ Describe the NPC's personality. Acerbic? Friendly? Ditzy? Annoyingly calm and superior? What about mannerisms or habits? ]
COMBAT INFORMATION
  • Weapon of Choice: Sword and Spear
  • Combat Function:
  • Force Abilities: N/A
Strengths:
  • Wings: All Dyomene possess wings and are capable of flight.
  • Vampiric: The Dyomene are ferocious and bloodthirsty creatures, both literally and metaphorically. They feed on the blood of living creatures, and can use the blood they have consumed to augment their strength.
Weaknesses:
  • Prone to Starvation: Without access to a steady supply of blood, Dyomene will become feral and eventually starve to death.
  • Sterile: Dyomene cannot naturally reproduce either with themselves or members of other species.
HISTORICAL INFORMATION

There comes a time in every Sith Lord's life when they begin to consider their own mortality. The Dark Side enables many unnatural abilities, including the ability to slow the aging process and prolong life, but that doesn't account for death by other means. Ishani Dinn, also known as Darth Miasma, had managed to come back to life at least twice via Sith alchemy, but the process was imperfect. Her body became badly damaged over time in duels and battles, and she had to constantly feed off the life force of other beings to maintain her hold on the land of the living. Creating a new clone body, an idea which Ishani had once sneered at, grew to be an increasingly attractive prospect. Eventually she relented and began crafting her next incarnation: a Dyomene clone of herself, imprinted with all of her memories. Alas, she was captured and imprisoned in Azrael Asylum before she could see the project through to completion.

The seed of her creation remained buried deep within Ishani's personal laboratory on Zaathru. Without the guidance of her creator, the clone grew within her pod until the systems keeping her alive in stasis began to fail. It was at that point that she awoke and broke free of her exowomb. Believing herself to be the goddess' true heir, the clone dubbed herself Artemisia and set off to fulfill her destiny...
