Bringing the Hammer Down

Glyph stretched as he stood on Voss and looked around for the woman that he had contacted in regards to learning from her, of course he wasn't sure if this woman would arrive or not but he was quite interested in what would come out of such a meeting as the one that was to occur in... He looked down at his datapad. "Now..."

Saki had been well told there was a new padawan.. one she needed to use a soft hand with while she stood there holding the case with her armor, weapons and its own weight on her shoulder. She had only been getting stronger in her matukai techniques and lifting was easy, making her body immune to poisons and toxins was getting easier... the real fun of making her skin like armor.... that was where she was working her skills with. Soft to solid so she could. "Bang." The shot echoed out while she punched into one of the walls letting her skin gleam like scales of diamond. "And that is how you break a wall down. Easier way to surprise and get into a room then announcing yourself with your lightsaber." Saki was looking now and moving towards the padawan as she set the case down and the repulsors strained loudly to keep it from crashing into the ground. "So who are you?"

"One moment he was alone, next moment the wall burst inwards and he was looking at possibly the most unconventional Jedi to ever exist... probably why he had chosen to contact her in the first place." Glyph stretched his limbs and rolled his shoulder before smiling a bit wider with what it was that this woman could teach him. With a quick bow he laughed as he spoke, gleeful and kind in his stature, his hand still a bit sore as he had spent everything he had on the reconstruction of his hand and healing of his wounds... he was better though now and held no ill will for the woman.

Saki looked at the kid.. ironic since she was one herself but well she had experience few others did and had been in near every major conflict with the sith since she was twelve. That didn't make one laugh easily... well okay she did but it was usually at the sith she faced now who really did try and be toughter or get in her head. They weren't very good one even claiming how he was the good guy because he as a sith wasn't willing to endanger people... the enslaving, torture, using them s air support can't fire on sith positions and troopers however was fine because he didn't personally use shields.. it had amused her and when he ran away to lick his wounded pride she had been there standing tall. Now she was looking here before tilting her head. "First lesson is pick up the case so we can see where you are at." Something even Niamh who had gotten several months of training to enahcne her strength and pick up boulders had trouble with. Three hundred kilo's wasn't easy.

"Im sure it can't be all that hard." He smiled and walked over to the case, pulling for a few long moments as he strained his muscles. Only to notice it didn't even budge. Annoyed he started pulling again, and again. Pausing and starting for several long minutes as he tried everything before frowning and stopped. Stepping back he sat down and closed his eyes as he did, absolutely nothing now.

Saki looked at him try and held her face neutral... she had to force it slightly biting her tongue while she tasted the metallic tinge of her piercing before he finished and she spoke going behind him and sitting down. "No luck huh... well don't feel bad three hundred kilo's for the case plus the armor and weapons inside is not easy to move. Took me a couple years training to enhance my strength before I could budge it and now well, now I can carry that thing." She patted him on the shoulder before opening the case and taking out her staves one from duralaminium and the other beskar, her saber that looked kind of like a bes'bev flute/club and then she took out a large hammer with crystals on it and let the head strike the ground as it sank in. "So what do you know about force speed?"

"Ive used it before it thats what you are asking, im not too impressive about it but i have done so more than a few times... Why." He looked at the hammer, thinking for a few seconds before finally widening his eyes and slowly stepping backwards and away from the hammer. "Uh you don't intend on..." Think Glyph, she wouldn't try and flatten you right?

"No of course not..." Saki wasn't intending to hit him... if he was fast enough and she held the hammer as some of the students around were snickering. "Alright you get a headstart, show me how much you can use the force to enhance your speed and then I am going o chase you.... If you're fast enough the hammer won't hit you."

"You have to be shitting me..." Sadly he knew she wasn't and turned before setting his feet and smiling. "See you later you crazy woman." He smiled wider and bolted out of the hole she had made and turning down the hall, running as if his life depended on it... and for all he knew it probably did so he held off using the bursts of force speed he held for when he needed them, he would not uselessly waste his energy if he didn't need to.

Saki looked at him run and counted while she waited for a moment or two... her knuckles popping, her head turning to get all the kinks out... and then she hefted the hammer putting it on her shoulder for a moment while reaching out to sense for him while the others who were watching commented to themselves. Saki took off running letting the matukai technique feed her stamina, feed her muscles and she could keep moving while holding the hammer in two hands. She was looking around until she found him and started chasing letting the force work with her speed to take long strides towards him with the hammer glowing blue from the force energy she was putting into it.

He looked behind himself and saw her coming as he tried to push his feet faster without the force, her own movements out classing his as he noticed her getting closer. "Damnit..." He closed his eyes and reached out to see if he could use his force sight to act as sonar, the layout of the temple, or atleast a small portion of it, was all too clear to him now.

Saki kept moving and smashed the hammer down to try and get him to take a burst of speed while she kept moving using the momentum of it like a polevault to go forward to try and flip over her padawan and catch him there. She was grinning while the ones who watched shouted cheers and encouragement for Glyph.

He watched as she flew up and over him, slamming his foot down and stopping immediately before trying to send a blast of force energy at her chest while he was still mid air. What he was trying to do was slam her into the wall with the quick burst and while he put a lot of energy into it it already caused a dizzy spell, seeing as he had no way or preparing for the burst of energy and it simply left him unchecked.
