History:
Brium was born in the vast vacuum of space, his cries unheard outside of the small dingy ship fleeing his parent's homeplanet in a secluded area under the floor, smuggled aboard. The Federation's troops pursuing the Class-D-freighter ship seeking a new life away from authoritarianism did not bode well for his force-sensitive father and mother, fearing for the safety of their new son. With him born, their legacy could continue, the couple sensing their imminent end soon. Their prediction was correct, as two weeks later Brium's parents were killed, slaughtered in their home on Ilum by an assassin sent for them.
Brium was spared, the assassin opting to hide the infant Brium aboard a passing junker ship. The junkers picked him up for the time being, being his caretakers for a short time until they could drop him off at the nearest place to relieve their burden, leaving Brium at a labor youth facility in Cloud City on Bespin.
Brium spent his first fifteen years in Cloud City, getting into trouble frequently. Brium hated the fact that he was considered an orphan, looked down upon by most of the high-brow citizens on Bespin. His days were spent toiling at the mine. He often had problems with the other orphans, usually being involved in fights and bullied by his peers. After enough time, he learned how to defend himself, becoming quite efficient at streetfighting. At 15, he ran away from the orphanage, hitching a ride from a passing smuggler.
After Cloud City, the young Brium found himself on Geonosis, alone against the harsh sandstorms and barren wasteland. After wandering the E'Y-Akh Desert, Brium found himself in the Stalgasin hive, close to death from dehydration. The Geonosians agreed to give him food, water and shelter; on one condition. He would pay for his living by participating in the gladiatior games held there. Brium agreed, the other choice being death.
There he faced off against competitors, having to kill to stay alive. He quickly did well, showing the attributes of a warrior after defeating a veteran Geonosian gladiator in the arena by cutting off his wings and executing him. Over time, the crowds began to favor Brium, his survivor spirit refusing to give up in the hot wastelands. He rose up the ranks, facing Genonosians, various alien gladiators, and eventually against Mandalorian warriors.
Brium learned several ancient martial arts, being taught by the various combatants and gladiators he befriended, learning to protect himself further than just streetfighting. An old Geonosian warrior taught him the ways of the Gand Martial Arts and Petranaki shortly before dying, passing on the fighting styles as a legacy and used by Brium to secure several wins during matches.
There Brium's fear of Mandalorians began, nearly being brutally murdered by one. They showed a savagery the young Brium had not yet seen as they did battle, the warrior almost killing him.
As he did battle against the juggernaut Mandalorian, his left leg was lopped off by the warrior's axe. Brium narrowly won, using the native Petranaki fighting style and piercing him through the chest with a spear. There he got his armor Brium uses to this day, taking the warrior's Mandalorian gear as a trophy to his hefty victory and a reminder to if he ever makes a mistake in battle again.
After getting a cybernetic implant, Brium left the harsh planet, taking his six years worth of fighting experience and scars with him. After the arena, he became a Bounty Hunter, using his capable skills in combat as a career choice. It is what he has done to this day, an extremely capable fighter and warrior.
Brium began his reputation after being hired to kill a Jedi, the young hunter almost begging for a job to the bosses he came across. They threw him a nearly impossible bounty, kill a Jedi. Knowing Brium wouldn't survive this, their satisfaction of finally ridding themselves of him turned to shock as he returned with the body and extremely wounded, having killed the force-user. Since then he finds no trouble getting work, training to fight lightsaber and force-users specifically along with odd jobs.
However, he never even killed the blasted Jedi. Locked in battle, the wizard and Brium faced off on the ruins of Kamino. The Jedi was old and frail, and yet could have dismantled Brium with ease. Instead the Jedi tried to convince Brium to stop to no avail, as they fought against the hard drumming rain. It seemed, as Brium sensed, that the Jedi was allowing him to win, and perhaps wanted to die, telling the young bounty hunter his history even as Brium tried to kill him. Before he could strike his finishing blow, the Jedi touched Brium, transferring or dispelling his own force energy. The Jedi vanished from the edge, his remaining cloak sailing to the battered depths below. Brium used this incident as a platform to get more jobs, now known in the business as one of the many few who actually walked away. From that point on he went for bigger targets. Mandos. Jedi. Sith. Of course, it never usually worked out. One more near-death experience taught him something any other lesson hadn't - if he wanted to be good, he needed training. And a purpose larger than bounties. The Jedi had left him with something. A longing that suddenly burned inside of him. Brium sought knowledge and understanding of the Force.
