BIOGRAPHY:
Like most Dobsons, Brodan grew up in the lap of luxury. He is the son of Omar Dobson and brother to @Doofy Dobson and
Linn Dobson
. Having an embarrassment such as Doofy to compare himself to all his life, he never really felt like he had to try that hard. He let his father's money and reputation get him through schooling and he decided to lay claim to his father's military legacy as soon as he was old enough to join the military academy. Linn, being a girl, never threatened Brodan very much so he never paid much attention to her own glowing career, assuming that he would outshine her with total ease when his chance came.
He rose through the ranks quickly, using his family's influence to bypass roadblocks and challenges. His combat experience was pretty laid back, never really entering into serious engagements. On the rare occasions where his opponents were credible and capable, it was usually the courage and aptitude of his subordinates that would save him from defeat. He took the credit of course.
Grand Shepherd Burtch
took notice of Brodan Dobson's questionable career and decided to promote him to commodore of a fleet of the oldest ships in the elysium empire. Burtch offered absolutely no explanation as to why the promotion was given and gave Brodan a direct order to accept the rank. Brodan's father, Omar Dobson, attempted to intervene on the promotion, suspecting some kind of foul play, but the Grand Admiral pulled rank and shut the attempts down.

Brodan defied the orders of commanding officers and attempted to steal the glory for himself, and he killed an advising NCO out of spite. His actions lead to the destruction of most of his fleet and severe damages to the other two fleets that were present on behalf of the Elysium Empire. Brodan faces charges for his actions.
