The Nihil organization was the source of our faction theme.
Syrenno Maraan
brought up the idea and we ran with it, shaping it where it is now. The religious aspect definitely does remind me of the Moross and Primeval, and I'd be lying if I said it didn't subconsciously influence that aspect, even if it was unspoken truth. Loved both those factions and stories, but all around we just want to write good stories and to watch the galaxy burn. So we made a faction around that.
