Brothers of Chaos V: Returning Chaos

Shadow has never been to Mustafar. Why would he need to? It was a mining planet that made some good credits, but he didn't need credits. So why was he here now?

He asked himself that as he landed his ship. The mining facility was huge, bigger then he thought it would be. As his fighter landed he popped the door open and got out. He looked around for a moment. He sighed. Inside this facility was an old friend, and enemy.

About a week ago, Shadow received an encrypted transmission from his oldest friend, turned enemy, Darren Shaw. The two had a long history of love and hate. Although they were brothers, bound by the force, they were enemies more so. Whether it was Shadow seeking to destroy the Dark Side or Shaw trying to return to the light, the two always found a reason to fight.

And now Shaw was with the Dark Side yet again, but so was Shadow. So why would they fight? That's why he was here. Shaw wanted to see Shadow on Mustafar. Here he was.

It would either result in more fighting or maybe a peaceful resolution.

I had sent out a message as a last effort. Last time that Darren Onyx, or now known as Shadow, saw each other, was when we fought on my home on Kasyyyk. An old house that I had fixed up. Now it still remained in ruins. But that was what, years ago? And recently I had gotten a return message saying that he would be there. At first I was happy that he replied, but then angry that he had somehow lived past the ship engine that I threw at him.

Might as well go now since he was there as well.

I had only one idea on how he had lived past that. Enhancements. Either Vong or cybernetic, I did not know. But it would be fun to find out. Standing there. looking out of the view port as I wore my Predator Armor. it was not Cyberneticly attached to me however. Just a series of gauntlets with spiked fingers to look the part. Though he had seen me use lightsabers many times before. I had a new toy for him to see. Despair was a Sithsword that I had created, and currently it rested on my hip in its sheath. Waiting to be used. Even when I was not holding it, I could feel it's Dark sided nature.

I would not change. it was who I was. I accepted that I was a Sith at heart. and I had found my home. Not a physical place yet, but a slim downed area in which I could work in. My mind flashed as the sensors on the console showed a ship entering the atmosphere with a clear signature. I smiled as he was here. I pressed the button on the console to unlock the doors, and allow my old friend inside.

Test his fate? maybe. But this would not end without an argument.

Shadow approached when the door opened. He knew what that meant, he was being watched by Shaw. He stopped for a moment, thinking whether or not he should truly continue on to find his old friend. Based on their history, he doubted there wouldn't be much for pleasantries.

He nodded to himself and continued forward. Walking into the facility presented him with a long hall. He started down and could feel the presence of his old friend growing. He was nearing him, nearing his past. That last part worried him. In the past the two had a complex and complicated relationship. They became friends when they met on Korriban. They were enemies during the starting days of the Clockwork Rebellion, and friends in the final days. Hell, Shaw was the one who almost killed him. Plus the cybernetics he needed after their last encounter on Kashyyk.

But could that stay in the past? Would it? Something in his gut told him that this would, like almost every time before, result in a fight.

Reaching the door at the end of the hall he readied himself. Clicking the small panel, the door slid open. This was a small control room of sorts. He walked in and starting looking around. If Shaw wasn't in here, he would be in one of the other areas of the facility. But one thing stuck out, it was quiet. He wasn't hailed while en-route. He could only feel the presence of one other individual, who he assumed was Shaw. Strange.

I flicked the switches on the console to see a camera of a man, Not resembling the Onyx that I once knew. However, I could feel his force signature. it was the same, yet different. Some things had transpired since we last met, and it changed him. I could feel it. My face broke out in a smile as I grabbed my helmet. I allowed my short white hair to be visible as the door opened behind me.

hearing his rather heavy footsteps on the floor. I weighed 200 pounds, and I created a pretty good thump with my boots. However, Onyx? it sounded like thunder was hitting the floor beneath our feet. so either he gained weight just like the Fat Sith Darth Voractious or he had thicker bones than last time. I stayed facing away from him. Speaking as he entered. "it has been far to long since we last met my friend."

I had a pause when I started to hold the Stalker helm in front of me, about to put it on. He didn't need to see my changing eyes to know that I was of the Dark side. "That is, if you are a friend."

Shadow smirked as Shaw spoke. It was, indeed, Shaw. After years of being apart, after that final fight on Kashyyk, there he was. "That depends on both us," Shadow replied coldly. He started pacing around the room, never taking his eyes off him. "I see you embraced the dark," he pointed out. "So have I."

After another moment he stopped and continued, again never breaking contact. "Shadow is my new guise and this," Shadow said, lightly touching his cheek with his left hand, "This is my new face."

He laughed. "After our last encounter something changed in me. I could feel the darkness hold me in its arms," Shadow explained. "And from that day forward I dedicated my life to the dark. Now I am a new man, and I am ready to move forward."

I smiled as I let the man I once considered my best friend speak. Letting my head drop. Joking slightly about his new appearance, "You don't look that close to Revan anymore do you?" Also taking a stab at his heritage. Both of us had come from great lines in the force. Him of the Dark Jedi Revan. And myself from Galen Marek. A Sith apprentice of the Dark Lord Vader. However, we both knew about these.

Before our last fight we were brothers born from war. As I spoke I could feel a burning on my chest as the blood of the Former Empress [member="Ashin Varanin"], shaped in the form of a crimson tattoo of Naga Shadow on my chest.

"Embraced the Dark you say?" Smiling as I pulled on the helmet and turned to face him with the Red HUD glowing onto my face. "Would you dare me to test you if you are who you say you are?" There was only one way to know if he was who he claimed to be. and that was through battle.

I could pick out his fighting style like none other. Facing against it a few times, as well as fighting along side it. I held the grip of my sith sword. Ready for what may possibly come.
