Brutes, Blasters and Blades.

For Rexus Wenck, the dark side of the force was not really something scary. As a general, well, force agnostic, he didn't really care of light and dark. As long as they weren't running at him, lightsabers ready to slice and dice him, he couldn't care less. Although he didn't fear the dark side, he did fear its practitioners. Asharard Graush was a great example of this. Rexus prided himself of being not scared of nearly anyone, bar him. But, if General Graush was anything to go by, then Rexus would be terrified of his next contact.

Since Kaeshana, Rexus had been in possecion of a yellow bladed lightsaber. Stolen from a wounded Jedi by his comrades. Usually Rexus was against battlefield scavenging, this was a bit of a change. Losing ones arm put things in great perspective, and the stormtrooper reconciled the theft, with the fact he'd lost a limb in the line of battle. Rather than let the weapon sit as a mantle, the freshly minted captain wanted to learn combat styles. So, using his contacts, he found someone who he hoped could teach him the best ways to use a lightsaber.

Knocking tentatively at the door of their rendezvous location, an abandoned warehouse in east Avalonia, Rexus entered. "Hello?" He called. He was attired in a tank top with some jeans, his usual attire when not on the base, "Guy, you there?"

Kyrel was mostly often found in Avalonia, he never ventured out of his apartment, and when he did he was covered in black robes and out of his armor. He had been recovering from Kaeshana, and as a new Knight of Ren he felt stronger than he did before the battle. He constantly went back to training, and made sure his saber skills never stalled, He kept practicing in his Vader variant, a custom Form V variant that was suited to his heavy suit, and combined elements from all forms.

After weeks of recovery he had heard news of someone wishing to contact him, he met with the informants who told him that a stormtrooper from the battle of Kaeshana wished to learn how to wield a Saber. He laughed when he found this out, he found the idea of a non force user wielding a saber ridiculas , but as he seriously thought about it such a concept was not completely wrong. The saber is the same principal as any other blade, but for what it was it had to be wielded properly by those who wished to use it less they have an unfortunate accident.

After several days he set up the meeting at an abandoned warehouse, and contacted the trooper to meet him there. He grinned excitedly under his mask enjoying the concept of teaching a trooper how to wield a saber, perhaps to his luck the trooper is a klutz and dismembers himself, but if he knew how to wield the blade than he could be a force to be reckoned with. He stepped out into the barely lit darkness. His breathing filled the air as he heard the man asked who was here. He said coldly his boots clanked against the duracrete floor as he emerged. "Greetings Rexus Wenck. Your contacts came to me, they told me you wish to learn the ways of Lightsaber Combat. Here I am, I will teach you if you are willing to learn, but be warned i will not be a patient nor a pleasant teacher if you wish to learn this skill." He said his commanding baritone booming and echoing across the area.

"Well I didn't come here to bloody sing pub songs and drink like buddies." Rexus drily replied, "I came here to learn how to fight." He then paused, and a smile pursed his lips, "The dirtier, the better." Rexus took the saber out of his pocket, and ignited it. A brilliant yellow glow came from the blade, along with its deadly buzz, "Here it is guv." he said, slashing it through the air, toying with the weapon. "Where do we start?" he asked.

Clearly the trooper wanted to learn how to fight. Learn how to swing, slash and stab properly. His form while using the weapon was well, not that of an amateur. He did know how to swing and hit things with the riot baton. The lightsaber however was a different kettle of fish. Far lighter than the Z-6 Baton and with a more reach. Rexus felt a little clumsy with the weapon, often fearing it would fall out of his hands through a swing or so. Nonetheless, he ignored such qualms, and faced his trainer, "So, what's first?"

He gazed at the weapon, it's yellow blade illuminating the darkness. It was a fine weapon indeed, and a valuable trophy for the trooper indeed. He did not like however was the attitude the trooper seemed to display, despite his confidence the weapon he wielded could perhaps be considered more dangerous than a Vibroblade. He grabbed his newly constructed lightsaber out, and activated it with a snap hiss. The crimson blade no longer containing an unstable, and fiery glow but that of a properly constructed lightsaber.

He said in the same cold tone. First we practice drills, and than move onto sparring later. Allow me to demonstrate the basics that is considered Form I." He stretched out his stance, and held the saber with both hands. He started to move the saber in a routine. First going for an upward slash moving his left feet forward, continuing the movement with a block downwards as he moved, he than continued with a horizontal slash, before finishing with moving the blade upwards in a side ways block. He stopped and stared at the trooper. "Now trooper show me what you can do from what you watched."
