THE UNDEFEATED
OUT OF CHARACTER INFORMATION
The Crusader Ballista's were built in tandem with the newly introduced Spiker rifles, avoiding the heretical use of such flimsy implementations as laser cannons and blasters. Crusader Ballista's are primarily used on assault craft, typically Conquester's and other Planetary assault vessels.

- Model: Rail-Ballista
- Modularity: N/A
Production: Minor- Material: Draelvasier Technology
- Classification: Railgun
- Size: Extreme
- Weight: Extreme
- Ammunition Type: Massive superheated metal spikes
- Ammunition Capacity: 1
Reload Speed: Average- Effective Range: Long Range
- Rate of Fire: Very Low [One at a time]
- Stopping Power: High
- Recoil: High
- Bypass Shields: Fires at incredibly speed, able to bypass energy shields and attack the hull directly. But can still be stopped by Particle shielding.
- Superheated: The ballista shots are massive, and superheated. This allows them to rake through the hulls of vessels, causing massive damage.
- Heavy Damage: Able to bypass energy shields and obliterate the plating of ships, these Crusader Ballista's can cause massive damage to enemy vessels.
- Distance: Due to the incredibly speed at which these projectiles fire, they can cover great distances.
- Speed: These projectiles travel faster than standard laser rounds.
- One at a Time: Every round fired requires an active reload in which the new bolt is placed in the shaft and primed by the railgun. This obviously slows down the rate of fire considerably.
- Recoil: This weapon requires realignment after every successful shot.
