- Binocular Vision: Because of the micro-optics it has the ability to see things all the way down to the molecular level, allowing them to identify materials and better evaluate terrain and opponents.
- Combat Specialist: Built by an Echani company, this droid is designed for combat using the knowledge of those who built them as a basis for its fighting technique, though known combat techniques of other people’s and species were also added in to make it harder for the Bryn’adul to read the fighting style of the droids.
- Singular Focus: These droids have a singular target and that’s the Bryn’adul, ranging from the Draelvasier to their other beastly minions of known rapport. It has been programmed to identify them and destroy them at all costs.
- Freeze it. Break it. Burn it.: The favorite combat methodology of the BH-1 is to freeze a weak point in Bryn armor, break it with a powerful strike, and fill the hole with burning agent.
- Strength Is Relative: Due to the construction of the musculature system, this droid is much stronger than most droids its size.
- I See You: The ability to see all the way to the molecular level allows the droid to pinpoint weak points in armor and carapace, as well as to determine strength levels of surrounding materials.
- Kinetic Shminetic: With the presser field in the shield, and the self-healing laminanium armor, this droid is built for physical confrontation in which it comes out on top.
- Energy? I’ll Energy You!: The use of laminanium armor coupled with phrik and echani graphite interior components protects the droid from sabers and blasters, as does the shielding. It also provides an average level of ionic resistance.
- Resistance is Futile: As per usual, the factors providing resistance to anything are not going to last forever. Prolonged or repeated strikes will wear down the resistance.
- I’m Melting!: As with most metals, those that make up the droid are susceptible to high strength acids.
The growing menace of the Bryn’adul, with their nearly unstoppable and ever-growing army of replicated beings, has posed a problem which needed solving. No matter what has been thrown at it, with a few exceptions, the monstrous warmachine has marched on akin to the way the Yuuzhan Vong did in ages past. This issue cannot be allowed to continue or else the entire galaxy will be in another devastating war like the Yuuzhan Vong war.
Enter EchaniTech, subsidiary of Eshan Industrial Corporation. Specializing in the design and manufacture of new, and increasingly more modern droids, the company is known for having created the former Galactic Republic’s YVH-2 droid, an upgraded version of the original model that was designed to combat new living technology created by the Vong. As such, the company had the experience necessary for the creation of a droid specifically for the hunting down and destroying of Bryn’adul warriors and beasts.
The creation of the BH-1 was a culmination of partnership with Lucerne Personal Defense and Yusanic Ironworks, both companies providing proprietary technology for inclusion in the new combat droid. In addition, EchaniTech’s own Project Hardfiber provided a new droid construction system that surpasses the older systems used in the manufacture of the YVH-2 droids. The ultimate conclusion of the project was a droid not only capable of battling the monsters the Bryn’adul unleash, but capable of doing so effectively and indiscriminately.
