SKIN: Lighter skin tone, but tanned. He has very light tattooing across his face.

+ Bryn is very physically fit.
> This is due to his lifestyle as well as his growing up. He takes it as a personal challenge to be the most physically fit of his peers. Growing up Bryn had been working a trade job as a machinist. This allowed him the opportunity to gain strength above average for others of the same age. Lifting heavy metal pieces and operating the heavy machinery gave him an edge when it came to tests of strength. Being force sensitive at a young age also allowed him to develop his skills in the Force by augmenting his already heightened physical abilities.
+/- Bryn has the ability to focus (Single-minded determination).
> This is primarily a racial trait as many Zabrak find it easy to focus on one thing and are commonly called “Single-Minded” as they usually approach one problem at a time. This can be great when there’s one goal to focus on however it can also be a weakness as focusing on one goal can sometimes cause more issues when all the problems at hand aren’t factored into a response.

> Bryn’s confidence allows him to achieve tasks and goals that many people wouldn’t even attempt. This is one of his strengths but it can also lead him to weakness if he is overconfident. This again is partially a result of his genetics as most Zabrak are confident in their abilities, to a fault.

> This can be great in short term problem solving however in the long term the moral implications can be staggering. In some instances, relying too much on his utilitarian ways of thought, he can be abrasive and come across as not compassionate. He views this as a strength however it can cause moral dilemmas in specific situations.

> Bryn is fairly impatient, preferring to jump in rather than wait and see. His impulsiveness can be an advantage but it is a weakness of his. While he is an analytical thinker, he often allows his impulsiveness to drive his decisions and as such is not suited for tasks that require a subtle touch.

BIOGRAPHY:
Bryn’jarr Astaris was born on Iridonia among his kind. They were a highly industrious people, manufacturing a wide variety of equipment and parts for larger corporations. In addition to their production they also dealt in a lot of trade. Bryn’jarr was born to a father (Veren Astaris) who was a heavy equipment operator and a mother (Nabiha Astaris) who worked in a small textile factory. As a child he was a tenacious one, constantly getting into trouble. When he was a young boy, he would spend his time exploring the urban landscapes, climbing high into the industrial buildings and factories. He was not satisfied with simply exploring, it was not long before he began working in a machine shop, younger than most of his peers. He loved creating things, forming precise pieces of metal from unrefined materials.
As he grew, he was aware that he had skills others did not possess. The Force was something he’d heard about, learned about, but his parents encouraged him to not mention it to anyone. Were they embarrassed? Where they afraid of something? Only they could tell you. At the time he bowed to his parents’ wishes and instead focused on exploring the physical benefits of his new found connection to the Force. In a practical sense, he became a master at augmenting his already impressive physical prowess. He kept himself in good shape, his job requiring him to carry heavy objects and operate heavy machines. He yearned for more though. He wanted to be taught. It was this hunger for knowledge that led him away from Iridonia and into the arms of the Jedi. It was here that his story truly began, away from the industrial workshops of Iridonia and the squabble of the trade markets.
Bryn'jarr has spent the last 5 years studying, learning, developing his skill in both lightsaber combat and the Force under instruction of various teachers but primarily Master Alfrún. Bryn'jarr excelled at the physical tests and is on the path to becoming a Jedi Guardian. He is currently assigned to a Jedi for completion of his training, Alyona Volknova.
