Description: No army can go without armour and the BT-01 provides the "big guns" for The Primeval's ground forces. Essentially what is just like every other tank in existence the Wraid battle tank has a long-barreled, turret-mounted gun, a coaxial anti-personnel gun, and light missile launching system for taking out emplacements. Strap that onto an armoured track with an engine at the back and you have yourself a tank!
Of course there are some innovations made by The Primeval. For one, mounted on the turret is a Tactical Anti-missile System which can target and destroy certain kinds of enemy warheads. Despite its large size, the vehicle can reach a top speed of 75km/h which allows the machine to cruise steadily towards its destination and keep up with the APC and IFVs they might be protecting.
Strengths:
- Well-armed: The BT-01 doesn't really lack as far as guns go. It can take out light vehicles, other tanks, warheads, and light emplacements.
- Durable: As one would expect with any tank, the Wraid won't go away so easily just because you're shooting at it.
- Optimistic: Take some fearless zealots then wrap them in several inches of Durasteel. The BT-01 only goes in one direction; forward.
- No shields: Technical oversight? Maybe. This tank has no shields and as you might expect is vulnerable to powerful energy weapons.
- Tracks: It doesn't have amazing suspension, it won't hover, and it's probably going to get stuck in mud; but it'll look cool doing it.
- What's new?: Nothing.
