DESCRIPTION:
The BTI-835 Machine Pistol is a beautifully designed, select-fire handgun poised to augment Czerka Arms' challenge of the energy weapons which have been monopolizing and saturating the Galaxy's militant market. As a whole, the BTI-835 Machine Pistole was built wit three modes of fire: semi-automatic, three-round burst, and fully automatic. Each of these modes can be accessed through the simple toggling of a switch on the side f the weapon. In terms of penetration power, the BTI-835 Machine Pistol pales in comparison to its higher-power siblings. Despite this fact, it boasts the ability to pierce through a 1/8" thick plate of pure durasteel. Furthermore, the BTI-835 Machine Pistol greatly benefits from the versatility of the various ammunition types available to Czerka Arms' latest generation of weaponry.
However, when compared to the energy-based weapons of the Galactic market, the CZ-835 Machine Pistol suffers in the same area as all slugthrowers when compared to blasters. Simply put, energy-based weapons have an exceptionally higher capacity for seamless fire per gas canister, whilst the BTI-835 Machine Pistol requires reloading once every twenty rounds. Although this is the case, one of the greatest advantages of the BTI-835 Machine Pistol, in addition to all slugthrowers, over energy-based weaponry is the fact that its cost of production, and thereby sale price, is exceptionally lower than that of its blaster competitors. As a whole, this weapon is a remarkably reliable and effective tool for dispatching enemy targets; at the fraction of the cost of a blaster.
The first in a new line of weapons unveiled by Blas-Tech after Czerka failed to stop them.
