Description:The BTI-IBC is the newest Ion weapon produced on the market to date by Blas-Tech Industries. Trying to round out it's new product line with an updated droid stopping weapon, "The Restrainer" was developed. Trying to balance out a once stop droid, and organic stunning weapon, the carbine was settled on. Being slightly hefty for a weapon of it's size comes with a simple reason. In order to still use the "Plug N Fire" power cell the weapon had to be fitted with an ionization converter so that the energy from the cells would work to stun the droids. This is seen as the most crucial advancement on the weapon besides the overall change in shape from most ion weaponry the galaxy has ever seen. It's rate of fire and firing speed are lower than a blaster's but it is incredibly useful in stunning droids and frying their internal circuitry depending on the area shot,proximity, and number of shots landed. When used on an organic, the effect is just a simple stun. Although a shot straight to the head has a low chance of putting an organic in a coma due to the high electronic blast.
With two grips on the carbine, it offers stability for the shooter. Customizable with different stocks and flashlight attachment as well as an optional scope, the BTI-IBC is a nice mission adaptable weapon and a first step in the new age of ion based weaponry for the weapons dealer.
