Joti had been avoiding corella since that recent firefight. The authorities weren't exactly keen on having her back either, But she was in the area and well, Her nutty astromech needed fixing. She'd landed in some docking bay not far, one that she didn't ask questions or keep records in good order. One she could trust. Now she was wandering the streets of corellia, looking for someone to fix K1.
He beeped and whirled at her angrily, and the red clad mandalorian couldn't help but wonder why didn't just get a new one.

"It's going to be fixed, Just be patient" She sighs. The droid however, did not share her optimism, and continued, louder than before.

"Well I ain't exactly loaded with cash now am I? Besides, Hasn't life been more exciting since we crossed paths little guy?"

The droid continued to beep fussily, something along the lines of [Since you stole me?].

"Yeah, I stole you! But they were gunna scrap you, remember?" She retorts. The droid produces a sound that can only be related to a long, drawn out sigh. Joti reaches down and pats the astromech on his shiny dome of a head, and continues in her search.

Arturo took a deep breath of the Corellian air. It might be filled with smoke and other poisons but man did it smell like the closest thing to home. Corellia was just the right kind of disreputable for the Aruzan. It became a frequent pit stop to make some credits to fund his hobby on the side, more than enough vagabonds and smugglers and pirates to keep him in business. He leaned against a building in the busy streets of the slum city occasionally drinking from his flask.

In truth, Arturo had a second reason for being here, his aforementioned hobby. His research showed that there might be a sith hiding in the city masquerading as a low level politician. It was also possible that it was just another corrupt public servant who tried to discretely get rid of some competition. God knows it’s not unheard of on this planet. So he was eavesdropping, trying to find out what he could when he heard someone arguing with an astromech droid. Arturo smiled and turned on his salesman shtick as he walked to intercept the armored woman.

“Excuse me, I couldn’t help but hear you're having some problems with your droid?” As Arturo scanned the woman, something about her appearance felt all too familiar. “Perhaps I could be of assistance, I’m a mechanic.” His eyes widened slightly as he realized the reason for the Deja Vu. Her armor looked like the kind you see on those Mando killing machines. A little different but close enough. Arturo had never met one but he knew well enough to tread carefully. There are more bad stories about the Mandolorians than good.

She stopped in her tracks as the... Chiss(?) stepped in front of her. He mentioned the droid and that he was a mechanic which seemed rather convenient given the current situation. maybe just a little too convenient. She stood completely still, and in complete silence for a short time. The bug eyed lenses of her helmet adjust, giving her a good clear look at him. She wasn't sure what to think of him just yet, But she'd give him a chance.

"You heard right, mechanic. He's got a gimpy wheel, among other things"
She wouldn't let her eyes off him, the doid on the other hand was more than happy to roll around and demonstrate his predicament as he rocked back and forth, bouncing unevenly on one side, despite the relatively flat ground underneath him.

"Let's say we start with the wheel first. What's your price?"

She couldn't help but notice his eyes widen during their conversation. She was trying to decide if he knew her from a past contract, or some idea had just crossed his mind. Whatever it was, it she just hoped she could get through this without incident. for now at least.

Arturo’s eyes moved from the armor clad stranger to the droid who was buzzing and whirring up a storm, wobbling on its wheels like a kid on crutches. He squatted down in front of the droid and inspected the wheels and looked for some of the other damage the bounty hunter had mentioned. Standing up he turned to face the woman again. “Wheels are an easy fix. Should only cost you a handful of credits plus the cost of the parts. As for any other fixes I’ll have to do a full assessment to quote you a price.”

Arturo tried to gage any sort of reaction but it was hard with the headgear she had on. People are so much easier to read when you can see their eyes. “I can also take a look at your ship if it’s in need of repair or improvement.” Bounty hunters usually had the coin to spend on repairs and were usually in need of them too given their line of work. If Arturo played his cards right this could be a very profitable day. “The name is Arturo by the way” reaching out his hand to the stranger.

The droid stops and lets the mechanic give him a good lookover, more so out of the desire for repairs than any for cooperation, as the droid was... It had a personality all its own, one might say.
Then the mechanic mentioned her ship, which got her thinking. She had half a mind to replace the old dropship now that she had the means, thanks to a new employer of sorts. But... This mechanic could be a useful acquaintance if she wanted to upgrade said replacement, or if she needed it repairs after. Assuming he didn't ask questions, or at least, wouldn't share the answers.
Then he held out his hand and introduced himself, which is only natural when speaking with customers of course.
Somewhere in the back of her mind, she remembered some bounty hunters weren't keen on handshakes, partially out of caution and partially out of pure antisocialism.. Joti wasn't antisocial like a lot of her co-workers, but occasionally leaned towards the more cautious side of things. Seeing as her gauntlets could grill someone if they tried anything, She saw no harm in handshaking, and followed suit.

"I go by Joti these days, Joti Johayc. Pleased to meet you arturo" She says in a friendly tone with a hint of enthusiasm.

"I'm sure k1 here will appreciate it too. Won't you, rust bucket?" She nudges the astromech in the side with her foot and beeps at arturo in thanks.

"Nice to meet you Joti." Arturo shook Joti's hand eyeing her gauntlets the whole time. "My tools are in my ship, it's docked in a docking bay not far from here. If you wouldn't mind following me." Arturo turned and gestured for the pair to follow him. "With my clientele I like to keep my operation mobile, I'm sure you understand." Arturo began slowly walking in the direction of his ship. "You're more than welcome to leave the astromech with me and pick it up later but I'm going to assume you'll want to keep the droid in your sight." So far the bounty hunter seemed to be fairly pleased with him, which was good for Arturo's health and his wealth.

"So, do I want to know how the droid got damaged or am I better off not knowing?" The blue mechanic figured he already knew the answer but thought he would ask anyway. Arturo glanced over his shoulder to see if the two were following.

Joti and K1 followed behind arturo, both listening carefully. Joti swept the area with her pulse scanner out of habit while they talked.

"Yeah. You never what trouble he'll start while I'm gone" She chuckled. It was mostly a joke. mostly.
Then the mechanic asked about how the damage had occurred, which most bounty hunters or even mandalorians might have retorted with lines about not paying to ask questions or some chit like that. Joti had been on the receiving end of that statement a number of times, and she was annoyed by each. Besides, she was bored and a little chatter couldn't hurt.

"Probably not, But I'll tell you anyway. The wheel's probably a mixture of sand from jakku, and lack of upkeep I'm afraid to say.. As for the carbon scoring-"

Hmm..What to say... She could always make up a story. ahh what the hell

"You could say that some folk weren't happy to see us. Little guy got grazed. Chit just happens, y'know?"

Arturo snickered at the joke made at the droids expense. Arturo knew firsthand how much trouble a droid could get into.

He nodded his head as she talked about the cause for the droids condition. It sounded likely enough, droids tended to not fair as well in the desert and most people don’t bother to check on them until there was a problem. However Arturo was surprised to hear the cause of the scoring come from the Mandolorian. Not because he was surprised people were shooting at her but because of her frankness. Most of his customers were the strong silent type and only ever spoke up to tell him to shut up, so the moment of honesty was refreshing.

“I do know what you mean. I try to keep out of fights most the time, but that doesn’t stop the fight from finding me. The number of times I’ve had to salvage The Maiden is exhausting.” Arturo entered the docking bay making his way to his ship, standing before it. “Speaking of the beauty, here she is” The Midnight Maiden didn’t look like much, and that’s the way the Aruzan liked it. Inconspicuous. An old medical freighter that the mechanic had made more than a few improvements on to make it useful in a fight if it needed to be.
