Braze expertly guided his Delta-9 Aethersprite-class Star Fighter through the azure skies of Veridia, the planet's lush landscapes unfolding beneath them. As he landed smoothly on a grassy clearing, the engines hummed to a quiet halt. He hopped out of the ship and stretched before he turned to his companion, a strawberry-blonde girl by the name of Anneliese Kaohal Anneliese Kaohal . With a warm smile, Braze extended his hand to help her out of the cockpit to set foot on this verdant ground of this new world.

Together, they walked towards a small, secluded area surrounded by towering trees and vibrant flora. Braze gestured around, his eyes alight with enthusiasm. "This is it," he said, "the perfect spot." He spoke of his vision and the plans he had with his friends to build something meaningful here – a place of learning, growth, and connection. A secret place to call home. The air was filled with the promise of new beginnings and the sense of adventure.

Braze Braze
Braze was definitely going to become her new adventure BFF — he seemed to know all the fun places to be and go. Happily talking his hand and emerging from the cockpit Anneliese stretched her body as she slowly and appreciatively took in her surrounding scenery. She would fly, but space travel wasn’t her favorite part — she was much more content with nature and traveling by more humble means.

Beautiful. Magnificent. Breathtaking.

Many more words could describe the place they stood in, but those seemed to resonate the most in her mind. As Braze unfolded his plans for this vision he hand, Anneliese knelt down and grabbed a small handful of dirt, slowly letting it fall from her hand… memories of her homeworld slowly coming to mind. “I’ve never been there you know — my homeworld.” She said in a somewhat uncharacteristic tone. “I remember open plains… trees as tall as the skies. The smell of the rain when it fell on the plains — ….” Her eyes glossed over as she stood up and looked to him, now almost embarrassed as she realized just how she must have killed the mood. “I’m sorry Braze — that was depressing… I didn’t mean to kill the mood. The location, and the vision sound amazing — and I know I’d anyone could do it, it’d be you.”

Braze cast her a look brimming with empathy as tears began to well in her eyes. "Hey, hey, hey... it's okay," he soothed, his voice a gentle balm. "You don't need to worry. Experiencing emotions and expressing them, that's part of how we navigate through our feelings. It's perfectly okay to let them out."

Pondering their surroundings, he shared, "I'm not entirely sure what kind of outpost I'd envision here, but I imagine it as a tranquil retreat, a quiet haven away from everything, you know?"

Around them, the landscape was adorned with lush, blue-green grass, soft and welcoming underfoot, providing a spongy sensation that invited one to relax fully. This velvety expanse stretched endlessly, merging with the distant horizon in a seamless embrace of natural beauty. Braze laid down a blanket and carefully placed a small basket beside it.

"I hope you're fond of nut butter and jelly sandwiches," he said, his tone light, hopeful.

She was thankful for Braze — what she lacked in blood family, she gained and was blessed with friendships like she had with Braze. “I’m just curious — where I come from. Why I was given up — what I might find if I ever went down that road.” She took a death breath — enough of that. They were here for another purpose, they were here to dream, to plan and to adventure.

Looking at the large opening, Anneliese removed her shoes as she allowed her toes to dig into the dirt, as she began to reach out and their surroundings. “Well — I think if you build a complex — there should be a meditation garden, and in the garden you can create an exact replica of the ecosystem this place has to offer.” Pausing she started to walk around and ponder. “When I lived at the Sliver Rest on Kashyyk, my favorite place to practice forms was in the outdoor courtyards. A big and open as they were I could feel everything, unhindered by a building — unfettered.” She looked down as Braze offered her the snack — normally she didn’t eat many foods outside her diet — but… the sweet treat that was present was too tempting to pass up. “I would love one, thank you!”
