Building Project: Shadow Chapel

In the Shadow Keep, Romeo, and [member="stardust"] went over blue prints over the new space station that would be Eclipstica's new satellite object, in other words it would orbit the Shadow Empire's capital planet. The station was dubbed the Shadow Chapel as it was meant for sanctuary, and relaxation, as well as a planetary defense. It would have a hangar, many living quarters, and all the works. It would be homely, it would be safe, and it would be one of a few stations that would be build around the planet. With these stations many things could be done, but this one would be something more special compared to the rest. His shipyard, Darkthrone Arialyard, would be helping with the real building of this station. Romeo looked over to Stardust with his arms crossed over his chest, and bit his bottom lip.
"The biggest problem is keeping it in orbit without it crashing into the planet. Should it even orbit us?" he asked for her advice on this. Old friends these two were, and her past stretched further then he actually knew. His apprentice had married her, and he had been the one who had wedded them, but now wasnt time for that. It was time to make this station a solid, real object.

She hadnt changed much in time but one could see when she was being serious , she pondered looking at the plans, indeed it would be a place of relaxtion in time when needed a defense and house the shadow empires great fleet, sge was snapped out of thought by [member="Romeo Sin"]'s question looking over she gave a soft smile"well we'd have to take in consideration the size of the planet and the size of the station, after that finding the right distance away from the planet is all"she said

Romeo nodded in agreement. "I feel as though that is math, and math is more my daughter's specialty than mine." He chuckled. "Its about eight hundred meters, to about eight hundred, and fifty. Apart from the distance, we also need to know how big of a ship can fit in the hangars, and how many." He walked around the the three-d blue print of the station. It wasnt complete, nor was it really anything at the moment. It was a shell, nothing more, nothing less. "We need to get the designs for it, what will the outside look like, and the insides." He said walking still.

As if on cue, A certain 15-year-old with her mini-skirt flowing and her pigtails bobbing skipped into the Keep. Keturah held a contraption in her hands that she'd made especially for her father. She stopped in front of him and held it out, beaming. "Here you go, Daddy! Remember how last week you said that you're holo-link was faulty and it wouldn't work well enough for you to use? Well, I took it and had a look at it. I fixed it all up for you, and I even added color options for the projector and made it so it can double as a holo-screen!" Her alarmingly bright amber-gold eyes wandered to the large blueprint that he and Stardust were next to.

Ive not seen your daughter before times have changed"She smiled and nodded looking at the blueprint before them"we'd probably be able to dock bigger ships and smaller one we could take in"she said nodding to herself, she soon heard the sound of skipping and turned to see a girl skipping in with a contraption "ahh this is your daughter"

Romeo hugged his daughter in thanks, and began to change the color options to white. "So...Keturah, lets say we want this thing to orbit the planet...the station is about eight hundred meters to eight fifty, how far would it need to be to orbit?" he said looking up at Star. "Yes [member="stardust"] this is my eldest. The brains of the Sin family. Keturah this is Stardust." [member="Keturah Sin"]

Keturah began thinking, calculating it all in her head. It would firstly depend on the size of the planet itself, along with it's general atmospheric scale. Then it would depend on the distance between the atmosphere and the station itself. She put a thumb on her chin, thinking harder. "Hmm... I'd say.... about.... 200 miles outside the planet's atmospheric bubble. That way we don't have to worry about getting sucked in by the gravitational pull." She smiled at Stardust and held out her hand to shake. "Nice to meet you, Stardust!"

"Indeed, she is quite amazing." He said as he made his small projection white of all kinds of designs for common space stations. On the bigger projection it was blue. "Okay lets deal with outside, and insides basics then guys." He said as he leaned against a table. [member="Keturah Sin"] [member="stardust"]

Keturah blushed a little. Being showered with praise wasn't a usual thing for her. She turned her attention to the projections. "If you wanna dock a lot of bigger ships, I'd suggest a design that focuses on outside docking spaces, with inside docking spaces for the smaller craft." She indicated to the areas that would be ideal for such docks by pointing to them on the projections.

Stardust nodded rubbing her chin"interesting attention to detail she is right on that"she moved the projection round"we can have three sides dedicates to big cruiser and one side to smaller craft or we can make it even

Romeo chuckled, and placed one larger hangar where his daughter had pointed, and a smaller hangar where Star had. "How's that? I would say we should build it like a dome shape, flat on the bottom, rounded up top?" he suggested. "But I'm the fly guy here, or the brains, so Ill refer to whatever ya'll think." [member="Keturah Sin"] @stardsut

"That could work. We could put the communication pyres and the other essentials on the bottom of the dome." Keturah said with a nod. "we'd just need to make sure that they'd be well defended during an attack."

"Uhhhhhhh..." Romeo stopped to look at the dome feature design. He scratched his five o clock shadow, "Lets say they come out of the structure itself? Trap doors and what nor?" he began to place hexagons on the dome shape, and started spacing out trap doors evenly with four spaces between them. "Seems legit?" [member="Keturah Sin"] [member="stardust"]

Keturah nodded. "Seems good. We could also consider some shield defense. It can be on the base of the dome, too." She made a little dome-like circle and placed it on the bottom of the model. It would have to be a heavy-grade device so that it could stay activated for long periods of time.

Smiles nodding"but for reassuring measures we can have about six power source in which if I'm not mistaken should increase that time limit "she put the power sources in a hexagon shape" like this

"Yep ya'll lost me. So tell you what, keep at ladies, stay pretty, and Ima just watch, and attempt to pretend like I understand all this." he grimaced. "I'll just pay for it all...great its like shopping but with women who are into tech." He pulled out small cabinet of drinks. "[member="stardust"] would you like a drink?" He looked at [member="Keturah Sin"], and handed her a soda. "You're not old enough for these so dont ask."

Keturah took the soda. "Technically speaking, age is merely a number. But, I will agree, I don't think my body has matured physically enough to consume alcohol just yet." She smiled, sipping the fizzy liquid.
