SPECIAL FEATURES
- Pressing on one of the floral etchings at either side of the face of the pendant will activate either the View Masker or the Field Disruptor, and a second press will deactivate this feature. This makes for fast, covert activation of the pendant's features.
- A one-half turn to the back of the pendant will release the homing beacon. Simply peel the adhesive strip and affix it to any flat surface. A simple push to the center activates the beacon. Activating it without removing it and it will serve as a distress beacon.
- Tracking software can be installed into a datapad, computer, or similar device easily and allows for encrypted tracking.
- Field Disruptor offers a 10-second 'bubble' around the user, enabling them to pass easily through most common shields.
- View Masker creates a small distortion field around the wearer, rendering audio and visual recording impossible and using 'visual static' makes even naked-eye observation impossible, with a maximum of 5 minutes'.

A surreptitious and unassuming piece of finely-crafted jewelry, utilizing Verpine miniaturization techniques to combine a view masker, homing / distress beacon, and field disruptor into a single item which can be easily-operated by the wearer. Worn on a strong chain around the neck, the pendant is versatile and suited to a variety of scenarios, i.e. you can wear it anywhere. Once the homing beacon is removed, placed, and activated, tracking software makes following its signal easy, locating the beacon to within 10km square area. It's small size and power makes it a perfect choice for espionage, bounty hunters, and others. The view masking capabilities offer a full five-minute window of privacy, casting a distortion field several meters around the wearer, ensuring private conversation and obscured viewing. The field disruptor will defeat most common shields, giving the wearer ten seconds' time to pass through safely.
Only the view masker or field disruptor can be used at once, and once exhausted, requires 20-30 minutes recharge before either use is once more an option. The beacon is self-contained, with its own battery, and can be left in the pendant like an emergency distress signal, or used as a locator device.
