STRENGTHS
- Commando Droid: The BX-series was one of the deadliest models the original Trade Confederation had to offer, and since his activation 32900 has only accrued more sophisticated internal upgrades and combat firmware. Advanced infiltration tactics are ingrained in the captain's programming, even against skilled organics he is deadly with both blaster and vibrosword.
- Champion Gladiator: After the war Scar was sold on the black market to the Hutt Cartels, eventually finding indentured service as a gladiator in one of countless Outer Rim fighting pits. Surviving for six years in the pits, by the time he was purchased by a good samaritan little of his original components remained.
- Heuristic Upgrades: Delivered into the service of a compassionate Alliance officer, 32900 was not only restored to full working order, but his droid brain and cognitive processors were upgraded to better function in a variety of roles beyond combat. Still only semi-sentient, Scar views organic life forms with a newfound curiosity and in some ways seeks to emulate their behaviors.
- Beyond Service Lifespan: After the Clone Wars 32900 spent centuries in storage, and the years he spent operational were spent exposed to all manner of stresses. Scar is simply put past his prime, he requires maintenance often and is more likely to malfunction in battle.
- Post Traumatic Stress Malfunctions: Experiencing many terrible things throughout both the Clone Wars and his time in the fighting pits, Krypter often experiences glitches wherein he relives past battles and even sometimes forgets what year it is.
- Crossed Wires: Extensive cognitive upgrades have only exacerbated the minor quirks that tend to develop in droid personality matrices over the years. 32900 is prone to what can only be described as mood swings, and despite best efforts to curtail his faults can be known for his acerbic humor.
On the outside 32900 resembles every other BX-series commando droid, albeit particularly battered and coated in fading paint. His status as an officer is indicated by white markings on his faceplate and chest. An old lightsaber burn crosses between his photoreceptors at a diagonal, without a doubt his most distinguishing characteristic and the source of his alias. Scar is virtually never without his E-5 blaster rifle and trusty vibrosword, which have survived along with him since the early days of the Clone Wars.
