Alexander was quietly sitting in his small hut on the planet of Tatooine. He sat down at his table and laid out the strange device he'd found on himself as he woke up. All he knew about it was many people respected, or feared it. Which either lead to them respecting him, or trying to attack him. So, Alexander kept it hidden in the black robe he woke up in. He then laid out the broken device of the same nature and looked to it. Sighing a little as he assumed that the weapon had been destroyed in the same incident which cost him his memory. Well, at least most of his memory. He remembered his name was Alexander Thenveer, That he had some strange connection to the force that most didn't, and that he was approximately 18. Beyond that his memories were mostly recently acquired, and Alexander was awaiting somebody who might be able to aid him in relearning force techniques, and teach him how to wield the thing most referred to as a lightsaber.

Alexander eventually stood up and placed the blade in it's sheath. As he opened the door and looked out into the world. Luckily there was no sand storms coming as far as he knew. The planet wasn't showing signs of it at least. So, Alexander left his home and headed to the local village. As he began to search around and find parts to build a defense system. One could never be too safe in this universe. He went around from one local, to another and nobody seemed to be offering any parts. Well, why would they, Alexander didn't have really any credits to offer them. Furthermore credits didn't hold much weight in this outer rim world as it did other places. At least that was what he'd been told.

Suddenly, Alexander felt a chill, a familiar feeling surged through him. Which made him glance around uneasily. Somebody else was here who was like him. He wasn't sure who that individual was, or how he exactly knew that. Though he didn't question, as he placed his hood over his head. Then moved around in what few crowds were available. As he began to search for who had the force signature he was feeling. Perhaps this was the most Alexander remembered of his force training. Was that almost anything could be revealed by reaching out with the force. Alexander did so mostly by subconscious exercises so until he had better training, these senses could be tricked. Though Alexander could only hope his instincts would lead him to the right person, and that they'd be willing to help him. In return he'd be more then happy to help them in return. With whatever it was they were here on this planet for.

What a dust bowl of a world. Actually that was insulting to drought ridden worlds everywhere. Tatooine was just about the worst world ever. Maybe Mustafar or Ilum were worse but at least falling into lava or freezing to death were quick. It would take hours to die in the desert here. Lucky Ruby came prepared with supplies to stave off deaths embrace. The cloak clad young woman took a few chugs of water out of a canteen. She'd driven out here on a sandblasted speeder from Mos Eisley to hunt down a criminal of the Empire. They must have thought hiding among the Sith's allies on a back beaten world would keep them safe. They thought wrong since this world was now far from considered a remote outpost. Not while the Arceneau Trade Company kept up their presence. Of course anyone who actually called this world home were a bunch of moisture farmers or worse.

Ruby slipped the canteen back into her speeders sadel bag. Her eyes were wary for the target or any who may be working with him. She felt the presence of another Force user. "Great. Another person to look out for". Whoever they were he hoped they wouldn't get in the way.

Alexander was a little confused as he moved about. He searched from person to person. Without much luck upon what he was looking for. Well to be honest it was more of a who, he was looking for. They didn't appear to be anywhere in site from where he was at. So that meant he'd just need to keep looking. Eventually he ended up near the edge of the town. As he placed his hands behind his back and tilted his head. Scanning around curiously as he did his best to stay as blended as he could. Stealth wasn't necessarily his strong suit. Though it was by no stretch a weakness of his. As he finally had his eyes land upon a woman who was near a vehicle of some sort.

Alexander tilted his head a little. Keeping cautious as he slowly approached the person. He continued to try and stay blended until he was near the person. Though he was a little more curiously then afraid which made him stick out a little. Eventually he found his way over to the lady, and in a mild act of boldness. He decided to try and catch her attention. As he was hoping she'd be willing to help him out. He was prepared to escape if he had to. He hadn't remembered any combat skills, and though he went off instinct. He was sure it wouldn't keep him alive. Being fast, agile, and having a seemingly ending endurance level. Alexander's bet luck of survival would be to outrun the person. Heck given the right force abilities he'd be a scary site to see should he turn those skills into combat traits.

"Excuse me." he called to the person in a calm tone. As he kept his hand near the odd device he'd woken up with. Though he still kept it hidden under his robe. He was sure this lady was the right one he needed to talk with. Though she appeared busy he'd make this conversation brief, should she be unwilling to help him out, in return for his help. He didn't want to be a pest, nor did he need to make an enemy only a little bit after he'd woken up with such little memory. Though he didn't know how to properly wield the lightsaber, he had accidentally discovered how to activate the device in a situation that nearly cost him a limb. Though the blade had missed by just enough it gave him a light burn, and the burn had faded.

It was well past double noon. The hottest time of day on this arid world. But even this long after it was still nearly unbearable for her. Perhaps a few months of acclimatizing, she would be used to it. The quicker she found her mark though, the faster she'd get back to Coruscant. Thus she scanned each person who went by. They were few in number as most were still at their homes waiting for evening when they could get back out to work. One of these peasants approached her though. He was tall comparatively, dressed in a black cloak. Could be mistaken for any number of Jedi, Sith or a billion other beings in such clothing. Except that he was the one she sensed here above the others. "Can I help you with something? I'm in the middle of work". Ruby leaned back on her speeder, shifting a hand to a hidden blaster on her belt. If he was a Jedi this would be trouble.

Alexander nodded his head in reply to her question. She stated she was busy, and that made him curious. Though he wasn't about to waste her time working around the true purpose of why he came to her. "Um, Yes..." Alexander started and paused a moment. Wandering how to best word this without making himself a enemy off the bat. He had come to realize that some people tended to react negatively in response to a lightsaber. "I have found myself in a bit of a mess, and am willing to offer my help, in return for your help." Alexander started off as he shifted his posture. Generally he was a level headed person though there was something about her that was unsettling to him. Like there was some sort of invisible tension there.

Alexander finally decided he wasn't going to delay any further. "I woke up a little while ago having lost most of my memory." he said to her honestly. "I remembered my name, age, and the fact I was different as I had this connection to the thing known as the force." he explained to her as quickly, and clearly as possible. "I woke up with this." Alexander added as he pulled out the lightsaber hilt. "As well as another device of this kind. Though it serves me little purpose if I don't know how to properly use it, and I was hoping you'd be willing to teach me techniques, in return to my unquestionable loyalty to any so purpose as you wish for me to aid you with." Alexander practically summed the entirety of the situation in those few sentences.

Alexander was so desperate to learn anything he could about the force, and the use of the lightsaber. He was willing to become a person's pawn in return for the knowledge. Also, along the way Alexander was hoping that he could discover who he was, as well as what his destiny would be. As he had to believe the memory loss was all another stage, in him finding out who he truly was. Without the influence of the past's actions and teachings. All he could do is look forward to unravel the mystery and he was hoping this woman would be willing to aid him.

Ruby listened half heartedly. Not wanting to take her attention off the few moving through town in case she missed him. Still she followed along. "Boy if that isn't a sop story then I don't know what is". Ruby took her hand away from the gun. Seemed this was either an elaborate scam on his end. He was playing the part well even though the story was a bit over the top. Or this was the real deal. In which case until she figured out his past or ditched the lout; he was a possible threat to herself. "Seems like you're either a Jedi or a Sith. Cause you don't look like you hunt them to me. I think I've figured out why you came to me too. And I am indeed what you think I am, but not". Ruby reached for her sword. Left handed so she couldn't flash it out and cause trouble. "I'm not on either side". A quick lie told covered up her trail just in case. "I'm a Bounty Hunter of sorts. I use a sword, along with blasters to hunt down contracts and either capture or kill them for money. No saber on me. So your feth out of luck to get any training from me on how to swing a flashlight. And I'm not about to give any secrets away either... unless"...

Ruby dropped the sword back in its sheath. Taking a dig through a pocket to produce a small holographic image display. She activated it and a stout man appeared. Bald, mustachioed, mean looking fellow in a Sith officer's uniform. Not that the clothing would help out now. "I'm looking for this guy. His names Bellow. Likely going by an alias though. You seen him? I might teach you something once I've finished my contract".

Alexander thought a moment as he listened to all she told him. If it wasn't for his calm nature he was pretty sure he'd be inclined to punch her. Even if it resulted in him being killed. He didn't enjoy people taking his situation as him playing stupid, and this was the second time in a short period of time, that it happened. Alexander truly didn't have much memory of anything. Though he just took a breath and sighed. As he placed the lightsaber away and dropped the subject about the memory loss. He did agree to offer her help, in hopes she'd teach him, and in her own manner she practically took his suggestion, and offered it in her own words, on her own terms.

He didn't completely believe her story. Though he didn't exactly have a extreme talent of sniffing out lies either, and he wasn't in the position to flaw people. He needed whatever he could get. He thought a moment and relaxed as he yawned. Wandering what to do about the situation. Bellow... the name didn't ring a bell. As well as he didn't know of anyone going by an alias. Though he thought about things. "I'm sure I can help you find this man." he finally replied. "Word of anything out of the normal, is easy to dig up if you know the territory." he concluded. Which he'd started to finally learn about the area. He was getting to where he'd easily navigate through the place, as well as he had an idea when a sand storm was approaching.

"More its easy to dig up if you have the credits. Everyone seems to need a bribe on this sandbox just to have a simple conversation". Her continued disdain for Tatooine did little to improve the overall goal here. Not that a cheery disposition would change things either. "So look, you wanna help. Take this communicator and if you see that man. Give me a call with his location. Once things are said and done I'll hold up my end of the bargain". Ruby slipped off the wrist comm she had, holding it out for the stranger to take. She'd just pull out a backup latter. Assassins always came prepared. "We'll split up for now. Look around town. If you don't find him meet me at the Blue Mirage Cantina in an hour".
