- Material:
- Location: Ilmaren.
- Affiliation: Lunafreya Solidor.
- Size: Massive.
- Population: Sparsely Staffed.
- Profit: High.
- Accessibility: Easily spotted as Ilmaren's most famous tourist location. The Byt are nothing more than three massive volcanoes that cover 25% of the planet's surface, with its gigantic mouths being located at such altitude that it bathes most of the planet's surface with choking ash clouds and blazing miasma. Still, despite many caverns being easily found on the mountains wide range, all of them lead only to dead ends, traps, the foul nesting grounds of the vicious creature while only three entrances can actually take inside its depths to its colossal mining maze. Walking on top of these mountains is considered stupidity, not only for the imminent danger of boulders sliding from its upper parts but also predators that nest on the mountain, found in plenty, as with its miasma, flame geysers, smaller bursts of lava, for death is sure to come, in many ways.
- Description: Of colossal size, these three volcanoes occupy 25% of Ilmaren's surface. Inside its hot maze-like tunnels, torment awaits those that are trapped in this place, able to housing at least a hundred thousand slaves quite comfortably, the Byt could be considered one of the worst slaving grounds in the entire galaxy. So large that is able of housing a wide number of species, the Byt is home to coloi, kubazas, fireworms, xandanks, tanrays, sher kars, and worse.
- The Choking Hive - A massive and impossibly complex system of tunnels was built inside the three volcanos, all connected through countless tunnels, mines, shafts, wells, and chasms. Mines built throughout the thousands of years of slave labor that died inside the Byt, with the sole intent of extracting their valuable resources while in the service of tyrants, so large and so deep they run that its deepest parts run close to Ilmaren's core, while its highest stands above the clouds inside the raging mouth of Yrgos, the tallest of all the volcanos. Only two entrances may lead inside the Byt, checkpoints heavily armed where food and supplies are offered to slaves that will never leave this place again.
- The Heart of Fire - The deepest parts of the Byt's mining tunnels, rich with diamonds of many tones. It's almost unbearable to walk through its tunnels and hallways, due to its proximity with the planet's core temperature rises to extreme levels capable of melting organic flesh at ease. This is considered the worst punishment for all slaves send to work inside the Byt, as fireworms and kubazas have nesting grounds inside the Heart of Fire.
- The Two Hundred Thousand Steps of Madness - Carved on the bare raw stone of Taiyat's side, the Byt's shortest volcano, were two hundred thousand steps were slowly and brutally carved by the ancestors of the first Massassi that lived in Ilmaren's surface during the prime days of Darth Calidus where her domain in Ilmaren was absolute. Ever ascending upwards, the Endless Stairway was filled with spells to lure the mind, enchantments to entrap the souls of all those that died carving them, making this place all too dangerous for all living beings as its visions, incited by the choking gas of Taiyat's endless roaring is sure to make them have visions of pain and death. It's impossible flying above them, not only because of the heavy smoke, but also the constant bursts of explosions that the Byt is famous for.
- The Lastshack - A small hut of obsidian was built by Calidus on top of Taiyat's mouth. Raised against the wind to protect the shack, this place was built as Calidus's most inner sanctum, a small and comfortable place to keep her most personal and deepest secrets, as well as a place for contemplation.
- Plateau of Gorgo - Discovered by Gorgo the Hutt many thousands of years ago long before the Bloodstone King ever built its palace inside the plateau. Gorgo the Discover lived inside this Plateau for a while, and carved on top of the Byt's second entrance the following sentence for which he is remembered: "Here I existed, here I lived and here I perished." The Plateau is a large area from which the castle of Carn Ravaryn was built.
- Cracks of Doom - A natural opening on the left side of Yrgos, the Byt's tallest mountain. This natural hidden entrance leads to an inner large cavern, slowly turned to a chamber, where both the Bloodstone King and Darth Calidus the Reader used as a forgery, for the cavern's walls are filled with qixoni crystals, bound together and imbued with dark magic to fuel their works.
SECURITY
- High. Its depths are left unguarded during the nights, as the slaves are left to their own devices as they seclude themselves to guarded armories and vaults where they protect all of their equipment and secure the extracted resources, during the night, Ilmaren's predators go out their nests and hunt for food inside its mines. However, its two know main entrances are something else entirely, not only for being heavily guarded but also heavily patrolled by cameras. Both entrances are secured by:
- Security Forces:
- [3.000] Legionnaire Droids.
- [2.000] Augur-class ISR Drone.
- [3.000] DRD-002 "Tyr" Security Mecha.
- [1.000] Aegrus-class Super Battle Droid.
HISTORICAL INFORMATION
The tale of the Byt ranges as far as Ilmaren's ancient history can remember. Long before the Bloodstone King took shelter on the planet, the three raging volcanos were home to many brutal acts, as scavengers and hunters came chasing after its massive wealth. And by the time the Bloodstone had risen his palace, the Byt's surface was already layered with bones from many different aliens, it was by his doing that the works of the Byt continued and he carved deep tunnels and built mines to fill his vaults with tremendous wealth. When he perished, his wealth remained in the shadows of his ruins, claimed by Calidus, that used this wealth to raise her castle of shadows.
It is known that the Byt will always provide for those that seek its riches, through blood and fire much wealth can be obtained, alongside many perils and the fear of constant death. By the time Lunafreya Solidor had declared herself Ilmaren's new ruler, the Byt laid dormant for years beyond count, until she filled its hallways with hordes of new slaves, humans captured on her conquests and raids throughout the galaxy in the service of the false imperials and by the greater glory of the Sith Empire.
"Hear not my warnings, for they matter not. Those that come in search of its riches, paid heed to it with caution, for only death awaits inside this thunderous hell."
- Gorgo the Hutt.
