Description: A customized commpad to be sold on the open market. It can send and receive messages, and functions underwater and and hot climates. It is designed with a soldiers needs in mind, being very durable, however ugly. It has a small antenna, and two small dials. One dial is for frequency, and the other is volume. Both dials must be pulled out to be used, making sure they do not move around while in combat.
The screen must be controlled by buttons on the side. The buttons are large enough so a user wearing armor can use them. However, they would be too small for heavily armored users. A set a commpads can we wirelessly connected to each other, allowing for near instant communication. The C1-Commpad has trouble sending messages off planet, and would require a signal booster to send a signal to another planet.
