C1 tactical droids, aka Sparks, were one of the first droids designed by CST with the goal of handling tactical data and strategizing for the various specialized spaceframes built by the company. Since they they've been a part of many models of warship, likely also serving as the predecessor to CST's later development of the Central AI system. Still, these simply built, creative droids have kept up their usefulness, and are not an uncommon sight to see. Though occasionally this is them struggling to operate outside their ships.
