C1-T3N “TINKER”
OUT OF CHARACTER INFORMATION
Intent: Droid Copilot for Saeza Bolok’Vang
Role: Engineer | Copilot
Links: Rebel Outcasthttp://starwarsrp.net/topic/138685-rebel-outcast/
PHYSICAL INFORMATION
Age: ~50
Model: C1-Serieshttps://starwars.fandom.com/wiki/C1-series_astromech_droid Astromech Droid
Appearance: Tinker is a simplistic C1-Series with green and white coloration and a blue photorecptor. His cylindrical head often features a sensor dish which is a replacement from his original that no longer works and could not be easily replaced at the time. Many of Tinker’s parts are replacements, jury-rigged from other Astromechs or additions made to his chassis by previous owners.
SOCIAL INFORMATION
Name: R4-T3N | Tinker
Loyalties: Resistancehttp://starwarsrp.net/groups/469-the-resistance/ | Saeza Bolok’Vang
Notable Equipment: Ghostwave Communicatorhttp://starwarsrp.net/topic/121948-ghostwave-communicator/
Skills: T3N is a mechanic and engineer for the most part, filling the same role as the more famous R2-D2, but not as reliable. As an aging Astromech he suffers from glitches and personality quirks which usually results in him attempting to learn or experiment with various mechanical equipment. He can also operate a weapon turret or a starship with the same performance expectations as standard droid ships like the Vultrue Droid or Tri-fighter.
Personality: Tinker is much more quirky than Rowdy, being more polite and kind natured. Much like their biological counterparts, Tinker is timid and sticks to his own while Rowdyhttp://starwarsrp.net/topic/138875-r9-t1-rowdy/ is boisterous and prone to running Tinker out of the engineering bay. Despite that C1-T3N was named Tinker because he likes to mess with things, attempting to improve them or alter them to his own liking, however his experiments aren’t always so successful much to the chagrin of his crewmates.
COMBAT INFORMATION
Weapon of Choice: Tiny Blow Torch | Saw Blade | Shock Prod
Combat Function: Tinker is Saeza’s copilot in her X-Wing or when she is left to fly the Rebel Outcast for the crew, as well as Rowdy’s Assistant-Mechanic. He can fight as well as one would expect an astromech to, though is cowardly when in direct combat, and can operate a weapon turret or a starfighter like many other Astromechs.
Strengths:
C1-T3N was assembled on Denon before the galaxy became highly trafficked after the Gulag Plague, during the antebellum period as the Four Hundred Year Darkness came to an end. His memory banks, though some have been damaged and replaced since he was first constructed, contain recordings of old Jedi of the first Galactic Republic that emerged after the Gulag Plague.
C1-T3N was sold and used by smugglers, bounty hunters, and even pirates before ending up in a junkyard, broken down and mostly torn open for parts. The ugnaughts hadn’t bothered to deactivate him, and so he sat, collecting dust, having parts pulled out of his chassis to repair other droids until he was happened across by allies of the Resistance who were salvaging much needed Astromechs for their pilots. He was rebuilt by the Twi’Lek smuggler Teela LaRochehttp://starwarsrp.net/topic/139254-teela-laroche/ and sold to the Jedi Remnant and has since held the Twi’Lek in high regard. Due to the age of the droid however, the Jedi were loathe to take him and many passed over the aging chassis or jury-rigged parts leaving him stuck aboard the Solemn Purpose in the Jedi quarter, helping where he was allowed in the mechanic bays.
Eventually he met Saeza Bolok’Vang just before she was reassigned to the Wild Space division of the Remnant. The Yuuzhan Vong and Tinker shared a common bond, they were both outcasts and largely ignored by their comrades in arms. They were both meek and timid, and shared a friendship that they had both been cast aside by their families and found themselves alone for most of their lives. When she was transferred, she required an Astromech to accompany her, and so she selected Tinker to go with her because he had once disclosed that he wanted to work on X-Wings for Jedi Knights. Since then he has served as her copilot and mechanic, as the Yuuzhan Vong does not have a strong grasp of machinery or engineering like Laira or Leo. Tinker is often the brunt of abuse at the manipulators of Rowdy, and usually tries not to spend time with the other Astromech unless necessary. However Rowdy has helped repair him and defended him from others.

Strengths:
- Support: C1-T3N is a support droid, intended to fill non-combat roles, repair broken parts, and aid a pilot in a starfighter. He can help in a direct fight, but not in any meaningful way.
- Unarmed: While equipped with tools and the like, Tinker does not possess an actual weapon.
