Intent: To create a Interceptor class starfighter for the Echani Compact for use in further military operations as well as a quick fighter capable of anti-starfighter defense. This is also being made in order to give the Echani their first Hero Unit.

Description: The C2 Saber-Class Heavy Interceptor was designed by Eshan Drive Yards in order to give the Echani an edge in battle. With input from Echani and Republic pilots they built it with the pilot in mind from the ground up. With speed, agility, and power this new installment of the C-Series Echani starfighters is used sparingly as it cost a great deal for the budding Echani economy to pay for it. A small group is stationed on planet for a few elite pilots for use in planetary defense while the second and third detachment of these fighters flies exclusively under Grand Overseer Janira Fenni and is reserved for Ace pilots.
