STRENGTHS

• Absolute Unit: With a variety of guns, defensive measures, enormous size and the ability to function independently from his pilot, Cabur'tomad is a very useful tool and friend on the battlefield, in the air, or in space. Cabur'tomad is a powerful basilisk, furhter modified and perfected by his beloved handler, Gwyneira Craft.
• Okay I Transform: With an enclosed cockpit and sealed fighting compartment, Cabur'tomad is capable of 'collapsing' into a starfighter capable of sunlight and hyperspace flight.
• Good Boi: With his own semi-sentient A.I, he can function independently like an animal and follow his handler's orders... sometimes. Cabur'tomad is semi-sentient and has developed his own personality and traits. He can think independently in battle and collaborate with his handler and others.
• Shadows: Cabur'tomad has a cloaking device.
• Drill Go Brrr: The Howler is capable of diverting all of its power to its rotary particle cannon, turning it into a drill capable of melting through capital ship armor to cause a breach.

WEAKNESSES

• I Starveth Mother: Due to just how powerfully he is built, Cabur'tomad can run shockingly low on fuel, requiring frequent breaks from hyperspace, travel, and even battle to fuel up again.
• Bad Boi: Cabur'tomad is semi-sentient and has developed his own personality and traits. He is stubborn and not always likely to do everything his pilot wants him to. This can prove to be a detriment at times, as blatantly disregarding commands can cause problems on the battlefield.
• Vulnerable: When using his turret for drilling, Cabur'tomad loses all other systems except systems crucial for his pilot's survival. Shields, flight and other weapons are all disabled to produce enough power to sustain the constant particle beam.
• I Starveth Even More Mother!: Beyond the consequences of the turret and drill listed above, the already low energy level of Cabur'tomad is halved from wherever he was at.

An extremely ambitious and very expensive design, the 'Howler' model of Basilisk War Droid is designed to be a powerful asset on the ground or in the air, as well as a glorified best friend for its pilot.

Arguably the most useful function of the Basilisk is the capability of sunlight and lightspeed travel, allowing it to deploy in any star system at a moment's notice without the need to be dropped in. It also gives the pilot the peace of mind that they can go anywhere and still have their trusty droid buddy with them for backup. Its presence also has a significant impact on psychological warfare, with its imposing figure and unique howl from its powerful ion engine.

Sure, the Maji Ironworks Howler Basilisk was great when she got it, but Gwyneira Krayt could still do one better. Hoping to modify her new companion to the heights of greatness, Gwyn set herself to the dedicated project of upgrading Cabur'tomad to his full potential.

Upgrading weaponry and armor, adding a cloaking device, and including countermeasures. Gwyn went all out on this one. There are rapid fire laser canons, a versatile flex tube launchers, an almighty particle cannon, and deployable flares for anti-missile needs. The heavy duty armor of the ship protects him well, with shields further implemented as a solid defense. Several countermeasure systems are in place; and an ordinance jammer is ready to protect.

Cabur'tomad is indeed a beast. All around speed, agility, fire power, and defense makes him a monster in the skies and on the ground. Of course, Cabur'tomad is not just some regular ship, but an intelligent and semi-sentient being. Cabur'tomad is very much like a dog, and he has his own personality and traits. Stubbornness is one of those traits, fortunately and unfortunately. With a mind of his own, he may not always follow orders from Gwyneira or anyone else. Still, he feels a close bond to his handler and will loyally fight alongside her in battle.
