DESCRIPTION
One of the most important things learned in the assassination of the King and Queen of the Kingdom of Devit was that they were not invulnerable. Protecting them was a failure that had to be corrected. With their son taking over for them, and with his leadership in more of a battlefield role as a Jedi as well as King, it was determined that he needed a set of armor that was both suited to his position and designed to protect him. Time was spent subsequently researching his combat capabilities as well as his needs on the battlefield, essentially they studied what it was that he was going to be up against, what types of weapons, and what was suited to protecting him from them.

They designed the suit of armor primarily out of songsteel because of its light weight and its anti-saber and anti-blaster properties. This provided much of the needed protection on the battlefield, while retaining his ability to be effective with his hands. Utilizing an armorweave bodysuit added additional protection while maintaining flexibility, but to protect the soft joints, additional Flex-Armor was added. Because Caelan liked to fight with his fists more often than with his lightsaber, Echani Accuracy Gloves were molded into the gauntlets to improve his fighting capabilities. The helmet was designed using standard viewplate technology, but incorporating polarization and anti-flash. The addition of a camera allows for recording and playback for personal study, or for information capture.

The end result is a highly mobile, lightweight suit of armor that should protect the new King in whatever battle he may face.
