BIOGRAPHY: Caesar Valen was born on the Imperial capital of Bastion during the time of the Fel dynasty's control of the planet. His father was a Stormtrooper who rose through the ranks, and became an officer. His mother was an Imperial Knight, the emperor's bodyguards. He spent much of his youth on his family's estate being watched by his grandfather Marcus. His paternal side of the family hailed from Rishi, the descendants of human colonists centuries ago. His father enlisted as a Stormtrooper, and rose through the ranks eventually becoming a captain before attending officer school in his mid twenties when Caesar was seven. He served on various missions across the galaxy alongside his mother. As soon as he was old enough Caesar began to learn how to pilot a starship. His maternal grandfather, also an Imperial Knight, taught him how to fly. It was during this time he was first suspected of being force sensitive. At the age of twelve Bastion was invaded by the Sith who conquered the planet, and slaughtered thousands. Caesar was taken on his father's Raider-class Corvette and sent to Rishi while his parents stayed behind. The young imperial was then watched over by Marcus, his grandfather, for years until he eventually passed away from swamp fever. At the age of sixteen he began to take lessons from his maternal grandfather Rolan Terrik. Eventually Inquisitors captured his grandfather, and Caesar ran away onto his father's Raider-class Corvette, fearing he would be taken away also for his Force abilities. He scoured the galaxy, and eventually heard about the Je'daii who his grandfather mentioned held a philosophy of balance akin to the Imperial Knights. He made for Aurum as soon as he could.
