Caf fit for a Hutt

Ever since Lorca the Hutt sold Pizza Hutt to Ringovinda StarYards, he gave a rather wide berth as to who future suppliers were. He was the CEO but he concentrated on expanding the business rather than in keeping them supplied. And this caf deal was a welcome distraction from this megaproject called the Ultima-class bulk freighter. Sure the Kuat raid was a momentous moment in her life, where Jessica officially became the public face of Ringovinda StarYards in her stead while marking her baptism of fire, but Pizza Hutt still needed some work. Once again, as with the Kuat raid, following through its aftermath was best left to Jessica to plan. To Jessica, she started the project, she must finish it until proven unable to. So she left Jessica to plan the Jabiim expedition on her own. And she planned on meeting with a supplier of caf in the newly-opened first Pizza Hutt on Ringo Vinda.

It has come to my attention that you would be able to meet the requirements for supplying caf to Pizza Hutt. Thus I propose that either you or a representative of Korribean Brand Caf would meet with me at the Pizza Hutt on Ringo Vinda, so that we can work out a deal for the supply of caf to Pizza Hutt. According to Hutt business practices, the owner is authorized to make deals on the business' behalf even if the owner does not formally run the business. Pizza Hutt has nearly 400 restaurants, most of whom are in Hutt space.

P.S.: If you could also ship some samples to Lorca the Hutt on Nal Hutta, it would be well-appreciated.

Korribean Brand Caf had their own locations where they served their particular brand of caf. Throughout the Sith Worlds and the old regions of the Techno Union- and now that she was revitalizing the brand it was becoming more successful in a monetary sense. More money was never something anyone would say no to though, not that Ceri really valued money in itself.

But she was a realist. And a realist realized that all the equipment she used, the ship she flew and the people she employed... they weren't hanging around just because they liked the sound of her voice.

I have looked into the operations of the Pizza Hutt and find myself interested. We mostly operate in the Sith Worlds and old Techno Union space, so we already have a minor presence on Nar Shaddaa- this makes a shipping arrangement quite easy. A test sample has been send to your designated representative as well. I am able to visit Ringo Vinda next week on Taungsday, let me know if that's acceptable for you.

Lorca the Hutt already drank the samples by now... knowing Lorca he would have tacked on a Hutt-sized pizza as well. Since the Hutt Council already granted approval to the Korribean Brand Caf to be sold in Hutt space, that would not pose a problem. Charzon knew that the old caf in use at Pizza Hutt, after hearing about the comments made by the Because the other members of the Design Triumvirate knew next to nothing about the business side restaurant industries, and admittedly Charzon was a neophyte at this, but nevertheless Charzon knew that Pizza Hutt's weak spot would be caf and desserts, even if caf was to be sold as dessert. That, even though fast-food usually was one of the arenas of the restaurant industry where companies could more easily afford to do without them. Most full-service restaurants would at least have a dessert menu even though some clients wouldn't touch it. Pizza Hutt found itself in a rather uncomfortable position.

That is acceptable. I hope that you like pizza; Lorca the Hutt has been satisfied with the caf. He would think that, with the new caf, some caf lovers would probably tack on a pizza even though they originally came here for a caf. Plus one would think that some people liked to drink caf as dessert, provided the proper amount of cream and sugar was added in it.
