Jane was raise on a ranch outside of Kothal. Matter of fact she's lived her whole life on the ranch. Not much opportunity for a lot of folks to get off Lothal. Doomed to be born, live, and die here. Unless your folks had money, you became a pilot or served with whatever foreign power ruled over everyone; that was your lot in life to just accept. Still Jane would look up at the stars at night and wonder what it'd be like to be out there among the countless others who were free to go where they wished. Unbound and limitless.
