Calder was born on Miral and was moved into the care of the former Galactic Alliance on Sullust. His mother, a Jedi Master, had taken him to Coruscant during the time leading up to the strike on the Capitol by the Sith Empire. Having been moved prior to the attack, Calder had taken up residence in the Outer Planets Alliance for a time, before setting out on his own. Finding himself in the Unknown Regions, he learned a few Force tricks as well as retrieved some artifacts that assist him in hunting Force wielding beings and beasts.
Flying a modified Lancer Pursuit craft known as the Burst Caller, Calder makes use of a number of different weapons and tools, ranging from a swoop bike, to a multi-part weapon, typically kept in blaster pistol configuration but can be moved to be a rifle, as well as his mother’s lightsaber, an imbued songsteel longsword, and a staff with a massive kyber crystal that seems to be able to hurl Force energy at his foes and bounties.
As a Miralan, he has a natural affinity for the Force, but it seems that something is blocking his capabilities, and Calder is very limited in what he can use from the Force. Force Powers include life detection, Force Speed, barrier, enough to call up a shield before himself, and Force Body.
