------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Weaknesses:
1. Extreme sensitivity to light. He wears a helmet at most times to deal with this, but bright lights can give him things ranging from headaches to violent seizures without a dimming visor.
2. Dulled senses. A few centuries of carbonite freezing, under scrutinous care or not, tends to strain the bodily reactions of an individual.
3. He burns through calories at an extremely fast rate with thanks to his extended metabolism. If he isn't shooting, he's eating.
Strengths:
1. A general knowledge of the past, from a firsthand point of view. Particularly the majority of the Clone Wars.
2. Very, very good at learning new things. The majority of ARC candidates possessed extremely intelligent minds.
3. He happens to be a pretty good shot with the ancient DC-17 Rifle.
4. He looks good in tight pants.
5. Calico is Vong Shaped per the CIS augmentations. The wide arrange of force powers have no affect on him, and he cannot be sensed within the force. (Force Lightning still hurts, as well as throwing objects through telekinesis.)
Appearance:
CC-247 is a strong independent soldier who don't need no Jedi. He stands taller than the average human. His ARC selected genome resulted in a relatively larger body than than most human males, though he is no giant. His features are sharper than his former counterparts as a result of an engineering mishap; his eyes blue, and his hair blond. Various facial reconstruction surgeries have been required over the years, and as such, he bears little resemblance to his former brothers.
Biography: (OUT OF DATE, UPDATING SOON)
Calico was born in a tube. Not a fun tube, like the kind of tube filled with gel food or other gel things. No, RC-247 was born in a big biological womb with the rest of his brothers. He was created under the Beta ARC Clone Genome, designed to create loyal, proactive soldiers designed to go off and do dangerous, sometimes stupid things all by their lonesome.
Calico filled in his slot as a candidate faithfully until the age of two. At that time, it became apparent that his genome had mutated. His features were slightly sharper than his brothers. His sense of devoted loyalty mildly lesser than the others; a very fatal flaw on Kamino. The imperfect blemish on the Kaminoans flawless genetic reputation could not be allowed such a privilege within the ARC Corps. In fact, he wasn't fit to live. Luckily for the child, one of the Cuy'val Dar--the training sergeant of the Clone military machine-- came to his aid.
With more than a little begging and veiled threats, Calico was put into the RC, or Republic Commando program. There, he excelled despite his genetic impurities, and was selected to lead a squad of his own. Promoted to the NCO rank of Sergeant, RC-247 served from Geonosis to the battle of Coruscant. His squad wasn't the most remarkable, paling in comparison to the exploits of famous teams such as Delta, Omega, or Hollow Squad; but they were more than capable commandos.
It was to this end, that Fox Squad was deployed to investigate the freighter Abounding near the explosive end of the galactic conflict. The reasoning behind their deployment was redacted, and the squad didn't admit to really caring. It was just business, after all. Upon infiltration of the vessel; the team's ex-fill was detonated mid flight. Stranded, the team fell under attack by spider like, yet unidentifiable droids.
The details following are vague at best. Fox squad was overpowered, and at some point, place under carbonite freezing.
Several centuries later, Calico was released by one of the spider like droids, revealing itself to be an organic 'collector'. It, and its counterparts, had frozen and studied hundreds of organics throughout millenia. To Calico's dismay, he learned that his team had not survived so very many years in stasis; even though they had been cared for intensely like himself.
The Commando struck out of the droids, and was quickly pacified with a nerve toxin. Calico was forced to watch as the droids loaded him, his armor, and his weapons, into a small pod, and jettisoned him in the lower atmosphere of Coruscant.
Calico is still completely lost; lacking his bearing completely. Resolved to learn where these droids had come from, why he had been ordered to investigate them, and why they had studied him, the Commando began to wander the galaxy in search of...anything to really help him.
In recent times. Calico reunited with RC-252 Galaar and their pilot Kage. The three clones joined the CIS military and were 'Vong Shaped' becoming effectively unaffected by the force. For a time, Calico led the Dread Guard 117th Clone Army under Colonel Isley Verd.
After a number of victories across the galaxy, and with the need of someone to fulfill the position, Calico was named Grand Marshal of the CIS military. He lead the entire armed force of the Confederacy of Independent Systems with conviction.
Time went on, and Calico grew disgruntled with the Confederacy. He resigned his position, and took off with his family to found the Liberty Concord. He adopted Zius Tal'verda as his son, and began to lead the Concord the best he could. Issues came up, and eventually, the Concord came into conflict with the New Order. Keziah and Zius went MIA in the aftermath of the battle, and Galaar went off to parlay with the Confederacy. Alone, Calico was forced to cope.
The Concord was far too crippled to continue its own independence. It turned to the Omega Protectorate, and was welcomed with open arms. Now, Calico does what he deems is needed in hopes of finding his son and reclaiming Galaar's freedom.
The battle of Drunkenwell changed everything. Calico and his brother, Galaar, were spearheading the assault on both sides. Try as he ight Calico could not get Galaar to understand just how corrupted the Confederacy had become. The latter challenged the -then- chieftain of clan Tal'verda to a duel of honor on the planet's shipyards. Calico was forced to oblige.
The battle was short and took place in and outside of the space station. In the end, Calico ran Galaar through with his vibrosword. The Commando died in his brother's arms just as the Confederacy proceeded to glass the planet. Broken, and left without a soul to trust, disappeared from the public eye. With his efforts on Drunkenwell practically winning the war in the eyes of the people, Calico was thought of as a hero by a galaxy that was not his own.
In his grief, he came to [member="Zandra Fenni"] for comfort. The Echani had saved him time and time again, and, just like his brother, had stuck by his side through it all. She and Calico spent more than a night together, and Calico began to realize that he had fallen in love with the woman. To his delight, the feeling was reconciled, and Zandra soon learned that she was pregnant. Heartened rather than hampered by the knowledge, Calico ran off to join her on her pirating crew.
His loyalties linked only with the woman he loves, and the galaxy at his feet, Calico took off to do whatever was necessary to secure happiness for his new family...
