Accessibility: The casino is easily accessible to the public, guests are free to come and go as they please during business hours.
All hotel guests will be required to check in with the front desk in the lobby, where identification and partial payment will be processed to secure a room. Each guest will be issued two card-keys to access their room, and separate keys for their private safe (one in each room) to store any valuables during their stay. At checkout, the remaining balance will be settled and keys will need to be returned promptly to the front desk.
The private penthouse suite is located on the top floor of the resort, and requires a special key card to access the lift. One key is permanently held by Dahlia Nova (aka Gemma Burton), and the other is locked away at the front desk – only to be used in case of emergency.
The Casino has a dedicated vault for their standard business operations that is guarded by their security team and surveillance. However, there is a private safe concealed in a backroom that serves Dahlia’s money laundering purposes. At the time, she is the only one aware of its location and how to access it.
Security: The safety and security of the casino and its patrons is very important. In order to maintain a safe atmosphere for the guests, there is a team of skilled security personnel present at all times. This team works very closely with the surveillance group that monitors the premises via remote cameras and plain-clothed agents on the floor. All areas off-limits to guests are clearly marked “employees only,” including the secure vaults.
When it comes to their game rooms, they do like to ensure that gameplay is fair. As such, they have installed anti-slicing measures on their machines and have table games outfitted with ysalamir nutrient frames (beneath the table) to protect guests and dealers from being influenced by the force.

Catering to the business elite, the Calypso Resort Casino offers the best when it comes to entertainment and luxury accommodations. One of the newest additions to the Marina district of the business-world of Randon, the Calypso is best known for the excitement of their fast-paced casino games. However, there is much more than gambling here – the resort is home to fabulous suites, day spa, conference rooms, and a banquet space that is perfect for lavish parties.
POINTS OF INTEREST
Gaming Parlor & Card Room
Open 24 hours a day, the Gaming Parlor is the place to find endless entertainment (at least, until you run out of credits). There are many popular games to choose from: Lugjack machines, Jubilee wheels, Uvide and much more! The Card room is open from 10AM – 2AM and is a popular place to play a game of Sabacc.
Wait staff is available to take drink orders in both of these areas, and there is a bar area for those that need a quick break.
Hotel (spa, business center, banquet hall)
The hotel rooms at the Calypso are lavishly decorated and comfortable. Along with hotel rooms, appointments for the spa and business center conference rooms can be made at the lobby. Large conventions, gatherings, and weddings can be arranged via appointment with the event planner.
Private Penthouse Suite
The suite that makes up the top floor of the hotel is reserved indefinitely -- rumor has it that a wealthy woman has been seen coming and going on occasion.
HISTORICAL INFORMATION
After opening her pazaak den on Trandosha, Dahlia Nova decided to visit neighboring worlds. She was pleasantly surprised when she found Randon, a world full of executives and busy workers – just the sort that needed a bit of excitement and entertainment. A quick tour of the Marina District told her that there was much work to be done here. Dahlia purchased a rather large lot that had once been home to a factory, and quickly set plans into motion to construct a casino – thanks to the support of an IGBC associate of hers.
On the surface, the Calypso is merely a place of indulgence -- but it is also home to darker deeds. Named for Dahlia’s sister, it is also where she occasionally launders money.
