Can force dead weapons pass through TK barriers?

Miss Blonde

Trying to be straight in a crooked Galaxy
So as someone who has dabbled in Vong Tech and weapons someone today asked me if a force dead weapon could pass through a TK barrier. And I honestly didn't have an answer to it. On one hand I thought maybe it could pass through cause "lol force dead" but on the other hand I thought maybe the force has interacted with the physical plain of existence so much that it's an actual sort of shield that can stop a physical object as if it were really there. So as someone who just doesn't have an answer, please help put this to rest. Unless there already is an answer and I'm just out of the loop, and if that's the case then screw you guys for not telling me! ;(

If the person making the shield wants it to, sure,

it dependa on the weapon i suppose. a power hammer should be able to do so with enougth force.

They're Force-dead, the barrier is made of the Force. I'd say that they'd be able to get through. Just as you can't telekinetically halt a Force-dead weapon/individual with the Force, a barrier made of the same shouldn't do anything.

There are several kinds of Force shield in canon. Thud bugs go right through standard TK barriers. Shields made of, say, condensed air will slow or stop them. That's how it plays out in the NJO books, anyway: you can't directly stop them, but if you're directly affecting normal matter, that matter works just fine against Vong stuff.
